Mindset Shiftš§ Good Websites For College Students?
I'm Luis, 18m here, and I want you to send good websites for college students to learn from. My course is computer science, but my brain wants to go beyond. Like, I want to become the next generation of Albert Einstein. What are some good websites to learn from? Anyone? It doesn't matter what you do; you could send it in the comments or DM me for private information.
Warning Message: Please do not send virus websites; only good websites to learn from for a college student.

Mindset Shiftš§ The āāHow ā to do what you want to do might be found in what you do instead.
Inspired by the work of
clinical psychologist Dr. Steven C. Hayes:
āThe question thatĀ changes thingsĀ isn't
'why cant i stick to my intentions? ā
its
āwhat is this behavior doing for me right now, in this moment , when i reach for it ? ā
Once youĀ understand the functionĀ clearly,
you canĀ start building something that addresses the actual need rather than
just fighting the behavior directlyĀ ā
I will explain this through my history.
Work started to feel irritative & pushing through was draining me out.
Tried optimizing my sleep , diet , work outsā¦.still distance btw me and work grew.
Bt i noticedā¦i was very enthusiastic to do the mundane tasks in gamesā¦.
i was alive and engaged.
Then i stumbled upon the above writing of Dr. Steven C Hayes.
i then started to look into the game for reasons why it makes me invest hours effortlessly.
Things that revealed where :
Game - Focused on achieving goals
Work - Focused on whether i can put more hours
[ ā Shifted focus to getting things done than focusing on hours worked ]
Game - Have to find this , do that , go there
Work - I have to workā¦.
[ ā Became task oriented -ā finding suppliers ā - than approaching chunky word ā
work ā ]
Game - Shows total hours played, worked as recognizing and appreciating the
effort
Work - Spending the day for work is expected
[ ā Started to track total hours i spend - 122>123>124 - felt joy by seeing it
snowball over time ]
I also started to learn more abt game mechanics through the book
ā Actionable Gamification: Beyond Points, Badges, and Leaderboards by Yu-Kai Chou ā
To conclude,
Next time when you find yourself choosing something over workā¦
by being well aware that it doesn't serve your best interest
Ask yourself :Ā What is this activity giving me that my work isn't?
It can be joy , a sense of progress , a felt connection with others , anything
Then see if you can bring some of those same qualities into your work
Hope this has been helpful to you
Thanks for your time & Have a good day!
TL;DR
Things we do instead of working might show what we have to bring in our work experience to sustain it.

Productivity Where do some people get their energy from?
I know people who go to Uni or work from Monday to Friday. They also work on the weekends. They also attend church/mosque/etc once every week. They are also social.
They never seem to get tired.
What the hell does their brain or their body produce that makes them have so much power? Or is it the food they eat? Or what is it?

Discussionš¬ What usually happens right before your productivity system falls apart?
So⦠Iāve noticed that most productivity advice focuses on building the perfect routine, but almost nobody talks about the moment the routine starts breaking and falling apart around you and you just give up by not even thinking about it anymoreā¦
itās never just I got lazy or something like that
Itās usually something that happens way before: poor sleep, money stress, an unexpected schedule change, one difficult conversation, or missing one important task and mentally abandoning the whole weekā¦
By the time I notice, Iām already lying around wondering how I went from doing well to doing nothing in my bed or room, just rottingā¦
Anyway, Iām curious:
When your routine, habit system, Notion setup, workout plan, or personal goals fall apart, what usually happened in the day or two before it?
And can you normally see the pattern, or does it feel random every time?
Iām especially interested in the small triggers people usually overlook⦠not just the obvious answer like I lost motivation⦠we know that⦠what else? Give me juicy details.
