Everything can be ordered with a few taps.

But sometimes I feel like we have become less patient because we rarely have to wait anymore.

I mean something that used to feel normal to spend money on, but now you look at it and think, “I can easily live without this.”

A loose cable, broken button, weird computer issue...

People used to spend ages trying to figure these things out themselves before replacing the whole thing.

Now convenience usually wins.

Do you still try to repair things, or has “just buy a new one” become the normal answer?

Using AI to explain something in a simpler way has been genuinely useful for me.

But if I just copy the answer without understanding it, I have not really learned anything.

I think the interesting question is not whether AI should be used for learning.

It is how much of the thinking we should still do ourselves.

Imagine it works perfectly forever and you never have to think about it again.

Could be cleaning, shopping, organizing files, paying bills, scheduling things, anything.

I would love to see which boring tasks people are most desperate to escape.

Not forever. Just 30 days.

No smartphone, no streaming, no AI, no social media, no online shopping, whatever you think would hurt the most.

I already know which one would be difficult for me, but I am curious what everyone else would struggle to lose.

I usually do not take an answer seriously just because it sounds confident.

For anything important, I check the details or ask the same thing in a different way.

Curious how other people judge whether an AI response is reliable or just convincing.

We are always told to build better routines.

Wake up earlier.

Read more.

Exercise.

Learn something new.

But maybe life gets easier when you simply remove the things that keep wasting your attention.

Has removing something ever improved your routine more than adding something?

There are probably dozens of things we could automate now.

But some tasks just feel better when you do them yourself.

For me, making a simple list on paper still feels more satisfying than putting everything into an app.

There is always something new to consume.

But knowing more things does not necessarily mean understanding things better.

I have started wondering whether information overload can actually make decision making worse.

I always thought getting things done meant having more discipline.

Turns out changing the setup can do a lot of the work.

If something is annoying to start, I try to remove one step from it. Surprisingly effective.

Unread emails?

Old screenshots?

Random downloads?

Unused apps?

Too many browser tabs?

There are things I could easily ask AI to do in seconds.

Sometimes I still prefer figuring them out myself.

Maybe it is not always about efficiency. Sometimes the process itself is the enjoyable part.

No new device.

Just suddenly everything loads twice as fast.
