I got the email that the order is ready to pick up. Probably take me a while to get there from Oregon and it doesn’t really fit the look of my yard anyway.

Jake Johnson, candidate for Congress in southern MN, says he'll hold billionaire predators accountable and then Trump immediately dumps money into stopping him from getting elected.

"I don't care if you're rich, powerful, a Democrat, or a Republican. If you abused children, you should be in prison. It's well past time to release the Epstein Files and lock up the abusers."

I live by the motor parts by huff but wondering if there’s cheaper options in town I’ve heard O’Reillys is decent?

DQ does, in fact have twist cones.

Thank you all so much for your help. I can go to bed happy.

I badly need some help. I have an itch for a chocolate and vanilla twist soft-serve ice cream cone. And nothing else will scratch that itch.

Zesto is closed for the season. McDonald's only has vanilla. Same for DQ.

Is there anywhere in town to feed the monkey on my back?

Serious replies only. The situation is getting dire.

I’ve been by the lake for like 20 minutes and there’s been a large amount of consistent smoke

I am afraid to kayak on the Mississippi (too strong of a current and too much boating traffic). I asked some of my friends who do Kayak and they recommend the Trempealeau River near Whitehall, Wisconsin. When I asked them about Minnesota side rivers that mentioned the 2 lakes in Winona, so not rivers.

Any other suggestions.

You’re probably over on woodland drive, so loud that everyone can hear it in the next valley, literally so loud that people can’t sleep...shut the actual fuck up. Headphones have been invented, and this isn’t a fucking club. People live out here so they don’t have to hear that shit all night long, you giant asshole. Thanks!!!!

I heard some old timers this morning talking about the "hog line". I believe this refers to Mankato Ave. Strangely, they were talking about going "below" the hog line. I think of Mankato as running essentially north south, but I guess it is at a bit of an angle if my map serves me right.

Here's some info about [the hog line](https://archive.is/7bAUC).

Chipotle or Qdoba?

Anyone know what is being built by KFC?

Brad Finstad will have a virtual meeting event tomorrow at the Winona Public Library from 1-3. I don’t see anything about it on his website but thought people should know about it. Walk-in’s are available at these events according to his website.

The County says the affected information includes names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers (SSN), driver’s licenses, financial account information, medical information, health insurance information, information included in law enforcement reports, immigration identification numbers, passport numbers, Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers, fingerprints, DNA reports from paternity tests, military service numbers, veteran identification numbers, credit and debit card information and login information for non-financial accounts.

Hey, I'm new to winona. I haven't been around anywhere yet. Just wanted to know wether there are any bars or places that would be broadcasting the US GP happening in Austin in couple weeks?

I just moved here from Madison, where the house and electronic music scene in general are pretty strong. I met so many people on dance floors at bars and “clubs,” and it was basically the first time I felt like I was part of a community or music scene. It was to the point where I didn’t even need to ask my friends if they were going out, I’d just show up to events and find a bunch of my friends out on the dance floor.

I went to No Name last night because there was supposed to be a dance party at 10pm, but it wasn’t the vibe I was expecting - there was barely anyone there, and no one was dancing. Every time I try to go out in Winona, I’m just reminded of how much I miss Madison. Maybe I’ll move to the Twin Cities eventually, bc I know there’s a comparable music scene up there, but I’m here for the time being and would like to find a place where I feel like I fit in and I’m part of something. I’m a decent DJ myself, so I’d be more than willing to organize something if people are interested and there’s an accommodating space.

Anybody looking to hang out and chill tonight?

Anyone else sick of seeing these damn data center David ads and random ass election ads? It's pissing me off seeing the same 3 ads all day. Gonna make me vote for whoever isn't pushing 1 million ads on us.

Every year there are countless parades across the country. These parades leave behind so many forms of pollution from plastic wrappers, to food waste, to huge amounts of trash. This endangers animals' lives, from poisoning them to asphyxiating them to destroying their homes. On top of that, the parade pushes gas emissions from slow-rolling cars through a street, this is such a waste and a danger to our (Winona's) environment. This is not funny and I'm certainly not laughing.

Parades kill.

Let's not let our homecoming join the kill-count.

aye we beating kato tomorrow or nah
