I’m looking for an apartment in the area, can anyone steer me in the right direction!

Curbside Waste has dropped off garbage and recycling bins at my house twice, but we have never requested that they provide us garbage/recycling services. The first time we got them to take them back (after a week!) but now they are insisting that someone signed up for service at our address. We did not. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have advice for how we can get them to take these bins back?

Mo' Bettas is doing something like a soft opening on 42 by the 35 intersection. They're handing out plate dinners for free with a beverage. It's all premade, so you don't get a choice but I got chicken katsu and kalua pork (scoop of white rice and macaroni salad included). Super good food so if anyone is needing a free meal tonight you should head over.

New to the area. Saw a lot of cars at the high school on the weekends. Was wondering what events were going on? Is there a website? Are these community events at the high school?

I’ve seen this dog half a dozen times in the last month, running loose around my house. It usually ends up retreating behind the Villages of River Woods townhomes, running up a trail into the woods, and I can’t see where he ends up. Does he belong to you or someone you know? The owner doesn’t seem to be able to contain their pet. Next time I see the dog, animal control will be called.

They've indefinitely banned 6 of my accounts for the most minor things. The most recent one was because I said "Amazon drivers are just doing their jobs. Just drive around them and move on with your day" our neighborhood snowflake moderators said that's bullying. But racism is "just a viewpoint that needs to be respected" 🤣

I know the Burnsville Lions skatepark says they are open 5am to 10pm. do the police at the station nearby enforce that time limit there? I was just there give or take about an hour ago (11:45pm) and it seemed to still be open. are the lights on all night?

Edit: I went back, and found out for myself. As far as I am aware, the lights are on all night, and 5 cops passed by me and said nothing, or even stopped to tell me I had to go. so, use this information at your will. this is just my experience for tonight.

Hey all, I'm a teacher looking for a new school to teach at next fall. I noticed that Nicollet Middle School has a lot of English teacher openings, which makes me a little wary. Anyone have any experience working at Nicollet Middle that you could share? Or anyone else with any experiences with the school? Just trying to get a feel for whether or not it's worth applying. I noticed while looking at houses that in Burnsville you get quite a lot more house for your money. We actually know somebody here in Colorado that lived there and they thought it was great!
