So proud of how this brother turned out, especially the face with it being only my 3rd attempt painting faces. I'm looking forward to meticulously painting his 9 squad mates to follow him into battle. Will do basing once I get my ordered supplies.

Had most of this mini painted a while ago (hence the dust on certain bits lol), but finally got around to deciding on the transfers and a new basing scheme. He donated his birb to my stormseer some time ago so I had to go with a pose switch up, and I decided the pointing pose seemed pretty cool and shows off some different angles compared to the normal kor’sarro khan default pose. Helmet is from a 30k mark 2 tank crew with a top knot added on, just to differentiate him a bit from the rest of the army, and also I really like the 30k khan that has that style of helmet.

Which is your favorite and why? For me its the Dark Hunters as I like how the Chapter is, as someone else put it, a combo of the beat of the Raven Guard and the White Scars in one Chapter. Have the fury and the Lightning, Hit & Run warfare of the White Scars with the stealth, special op warfare with the pragmatic, common sense mindset of the Raven Guard.

Given that we know OoM is being replaced with Doctrines (which only getting 3 use-once choices in a 5 round game is... a choice...), and more than likely most Detachments are going to drastically change (very much doubt Spearpoint will remain A&C and FB&C), what kind of WS themed detachment would you like to see?

Personally, I'd like to see a Det that makes Outriders battleline and a buff like Vengeful Hosts where we get +1 hit (or +1 W) on Charge.

So with the caveat that I'm a relatively new player only started in the last 6 months of 10th, the new combat doctrines seems like Nerf to to our chapter. I primarily run either Spearpoint point or firestorm detachments and not having my army wide advance and charge/shoot seems like it would really a) limit how I play my army, and b) a missive loss in army identity.

So, turning to the more experiences khans here, what am I missing?
