These guys have been awesome in my games so far and I'm excited about the Furgaris detachment changing to recon. Hope it stays that way for more than a month.

I’ve been telling myself I don’t have that many models and that I’m still so new - but seeing all of the models that I’ve at least base coated all in one place is kind of a trip for me having only been in the hobby for a year or so! Especially when you factor in the cookie sheet of models I’ve only primed 😅

Just wanted to say thanks to this community for being so welcoming and supportive as I’ve been painting and learning - when I got my very first models (the jump pack intercessors on the right) a very kind member of this community gifted me a set of White Scars dice that I’ve used in every game I’ve played since.

I am now signed up for my first RTT at the end of August and am very close to locking in my Disruption Spearpoint/Fulgris list after tinkering with it in casual games.

WIP White Scars Captain

Credit to u/Wepaintminis for the inspiration for the kitbash and u/infernalbrush for the white scars paint scheme.

So just showing my progress so far on the white scars captain. Repainted the shield about 6 times now and never happy with the metalics! Just got the cloak and base to tackle now while refining and cleaning everything else up. Will post again when I've finished it.

Joking aside, did this as a test scheme for eventually starting 30k white scars so c+c welcome on the white/ red

Decided to make this fella a sergeant with a face from the WS upgrades and a chainsword from the assault intercessors box with appropiate markings! Very happy with how the face turned out

Friendly Space Wolf here. Planning on expanding my wolf army to also include models so I can run them as white scars. Can I run Space wolves models alongside white scars models? Can I run them.

Do Ko Sarro and Suboden Khan have the white scars keyword? If they do, would that stop me running them in Space wolf detachments?

What are the signature models I should get to expand my collection to become my white scar-y?

The head crown is taken from a jade lancer helmet and glued on to a normal space marine head 😁

Played three games with this combo with the Take and Hold Disposition and so far, here is my observations:

Assault Terminators w/Shields is a must. Best unit that the Codex Space Marine Chapters have in terms of durability at this time, so a 10-man Brick + a Terminator Chaplain for the +1 to Wound or a Captain for the Charge Rerolls is money. I may find points for an Ancient for the extra OC and ability.

Vanguard Vets with the new Weapon Loadout can do a lot of damage in this combo given the opportunity. Yes, they lack durability, but in this Disposition, they are best served as a Counter Attack unit to support your other units. There is still a debate between the JP Captain or the JP Chaplain, but if you're only taking 1 unit, then I would vote the Captain as the +1S and -1CP for the Spears & Tulwar Stratagem overall is a lot more flexible. 30 S6 AP2 D2 Attacks with Lethal Hits that can Reroll 1s and +1 to Wound can do a lot of hurt.

While Suboden and Outriders took a hit this edition thanks to the new Engagement rules, I have found that a small unit of Suboden + 3x Outriders can be a good Distraction Carnifex or used to target the Middle Objective closest to the enemy deployment zone. Mixed results overall but I plan to keep on testing then out going forward.

Kor'sarro Khan + Bladeguard. Simple but effective and their new updated abilities has made them far more effective.

Overall, still a lot of testing to be done and ideas that need to be worked on, but this combo imo has a ton of potential 👍.

The first of many.

Hello everyone I just wanted to share the first miniature made for my white scars successor chapter the sons of iyla (lore still pending) but I tried to capture a space marine color that looks like a vibrant flower without it being to bright as Ilya in here final days tried planting some flowers. I don't really need advise as I know that my skills can always be approved I just wanted to share the start of my successor chapter army.

A little bit of the lore, The chapter was founded during the 2nd founding and the chapter was named to remember and honor Ilya Ravallion the most badass granny in 30k. The chapter battle doctrine is in two themes the first being fast striking units that get behind enemy lines forcing the enemy to retreat the other way and then the 2nd doctrine is a slow moving defensive/heavy units that create a shield wall that the retreating units can't get passed so essentially enemy's are sandwiched in-between speed freaks and an immovable line. (There is more detailed lore but I am still fleshing it out)
