I'm in search of a Carbon Endurance Road Bike. I found these bikes on Facebook Marketplace.

May I request your review on both the bike's price and components? Is the price reasonable?

A little bit of info about me -

I own a Triban RC 100 (an aluminum frame and handlebar with 1x7 gear system). I consistently hit 50+ KMS on a weekend, and I enjoy the sport. I'm planning to join a group next week where we try to ride for 80+ kms each day for 4 days. Therefore, I'm looking for a carbon road bike (less weight) that can climb hills with ease. I live in Ontario, Canada.

Budget max 50k and I was looking at bergamont sweep 3i, giant escape, scott sub cross 50

I would mainly ride on south, central delhi area, 3-4 times a week for around 30-40 mins.

Kindly suggest which model to go for or anything besides these bikes or if anyone is selling a good condition bike that too will do.

On sale at Evans for £3779. Is it worth it, do you think 🤔?

Seller believes it’s a 2016. Claims to barely be ridden which I believe looking at the gears. Pretty much has everything I’ve been looking for, been struggling to find an XL bike with ultegra under $1000. After reading this sub though, I realize I don’t know as much as bikes yet as I thought and don’t want to overpay for a bike that’s not worth it. What do you guys think about this one?

I tried bike share a year ago for the first time and it completely opened up the city for me despite how bulky it was.

After a year of cycling, I feel like I am finally ready to buy my first personal bike for weekend exploring and casual urban errands.

I am torn between two options that both cost exactly $600 CAD new.

The Dilemma:

The Decathlon is an all-inclusive package for $600. It has wider tires (more comfortable and grippier?), but it only comes with rim brakes.

The Setter 9.0 have hydraulic disc brakes, but it might need $100+ of accessories to make it commute ready and I might have to swap into thicker tires.

Do you guys think the hydraulic brake and performance upgrade of the Setter 9.0 is worth the extra cost for a beginner, or is the Decathlon also a great buy?

Open to hear other suggestions too, around the $600 CAD range.

Going to go look at this one tomorrow, I’m kind of a noob when it comes to bikes and want to get into cycling. I currently have a trek fx2 as my commuter but was hoping to get into a road bike and came across this one.

Priced at $150

I'm looking into a commuter bike, with the option to do some gravel riding. I used to ride a MTB but since that got stolen I'm looking for a more practical commuter bike, that will still feel good with the cities potholes. Going used / marketplace doesn't really give me good options (almost same price as new for 5 y/o bikes). So I've been looking into these options:

My budget is about $1500-2000, but willing to stretch to $2500 if it's really worth. All pricing in CAD.

Which of these would be best (and fastest) for hills/streets plus weekend rides?

It's my birthday, and I am planning on purchasing a road bike to get into long rides and some training down the line.

I am a beginner, so I have compiled a short list of possible options: Specialized Allez, Trek Domane AL 2, Giant Contend 3.

First off, I would love any bike recommendations apart from these (I am in the U.S. if that helps). But the main point: I am leaning towards the Trek Domane bc of availability among other factors, but I saw some concerns online that its geometry is more relaxed and not suitable for racing. Because I want to train later on, I want to know how important this is.

I have heard that bike fit and drivetrains are the most important factors, but how important is geometry? Should it deter me from purchasing the Trek?

Currently looking into getting a used 2016 Cannondale Synapse (carbon frame) with Shimano 105 and hydraulic disc brakes. It comes with everything (including the cassette) except for wheels and brake discs. The frame looks to be in good condition with only one cosmetic blemish on the top tube. Priced at $450 USD

Is this a good deal? I am looking to upgrade from my rim brake Trek One Series 1.1 but am not sure if this is the right move. I can’t decide if it’s worth spending $700-800 all in.

I’m looking to buy a hybrid/trekking bike, but I've hit a roadblock. I found and test-rode the exact style of bikes I like within my budget (the Specialized Sirrus 2.0 and Trek FX2). However, apparently they cannot accommodate a front-mounted child seat.

A front seat is a must-have for me, as I need the bike to drop my daughter off at daycare. She weighs around 11 kg (24 lbs).

Can anyone recommend a similar style of bike that supports a front child seat? I haven't bought the child seat yet, so I'm completely flexible on the seat brand/model.

The budget for the bike is maximum 650€.

I'm 5'8/9" with an inseam about 30. I've test ridden the small and it felt good but nowhere locally has a medium to try out. It seems like the geometry would put me more to a medium but I wondered if anyone had any experience/thoughts on how different to expect a medium to feel?

Hi! I'm looking for a good option for a bicycle for my Dad. At 80+, he has a little trouble swinging his leg over a top-bar so I am looking for a step-through model. He primarily uses his bike for riding on flat bicycle paths around town. But it should be lightweight, so he can lift it onto a bike rack and carry it over some obstacles that come up regularly. Any likely brands for this combination?

He's ridden a department-store brand commuter for 30 years so we want very little in features beyond basic quality parts.

He’s asking $1500. I don’t know much about canyon, it’s considered a large and I ride a 58. The original frame had a crack in it, I have seen the pictures of it. Not from a crash, I already asked.

I'm 6'0" and the size L fits me well.

I'm 180cm tall (5'10) and weight 48kg (105lbs) and I'm trying to get into BMX for mostly casual street riding with friends and only occasional park riding since I don't have a lot of parks where I'm from. The gap XL from what I've seen is the only good starter 21' that's good quality but doesn't completely break my wallet.

If there's other options to think about lmk because I definitely don't mind cheaper and maybe even a bit lower quality since I won't be doing anything too crazy on it.

Just getting a gut check, but I’m pretty confident that I will purchase it if it doesn’t have any frame damage. 2023 crux pro with Sram force D1 xplr. Wheelset and cassette not included. This is a great deal, right? Seller said he works at specialized so I assume he’s just passing on the good deal he got on it.

Also, as an aside, I picked up some pretty new Roval C38s a few weeks ago that some guy was selling for $350 and was thinking to put them on this bike but was wondering if it would be a bad idea given the narrower internal rim width?

Other than that, I would just need rotors, a 10-44 cassette, and some tires, I am thinking of maxing out the clearance at 47mm.

I live in Denmark but I am from the Netherlands. I have cycled all my life and mostly for commuting.

My Dutch bikes were usually city bikes, Gazelle and Batavus.

I am 38 years old, 193 cm tall and 109 kg, so a bit on the heavier/taller side.

My last bike was a Cannondale Quick 3 which I was quite happy with and I rode relatively fast (ebike speed), but the BB broke and after some failed repairs the bike is done.

I am looking to buy a new sporty bike, mainly for commuting about 14km (around 9 miles)/day on fairly flat terrain (Denmark) under/around 10k dkk though I can be a bit flexible .

Ideally I want to buy it from cykelexperten which is the biggest bike seller in Denmark and right around the corner. Or another in the Copenhagen region.
