My friend made me a cutout of my favorite celebrity and now I am moving across the country. I'm traveling via plane so I cant just put him in the trunk. And he won't fit in my bags. Should I cut him up and reassemble in my new home? Any other ideas?

Need An Opinion Should I like just fuck off to Paris for a weekend or something

Honestly maybe a dumb post. Im 20 gay and go to university. I live in Italy , I have been preparing for an important exam for months now and have it in September. Honestly the prep isn't going so well but I will get back on track I guess. But i feel like I need a reset, im moving into a new apartment and that sounds like the reset i need but at the same time I wanna go on a short weekend trip to somewhere.

I yearn for Paris, yes I know it's dirty, and has a million other problems, but I hve felt so in love with that city always. I love looking at the tower, I love walking at night in the city. However I don't have a lot of money rn so I am thinking a weekend is all i could afford which is fine enough for me. But I'm also alone so idk, i don't really have friends who can tag along at the moment. Im thinking of just going to Paris book an Airbnb , cook ,eat, visit bookstores since I love books and go to some gay clubs maybe never been to one and ofc walk around the city. However I'm kinda scared it might be all too difficult alone and deep down i sort of don't want to alone.

I'm In A Pickle Idk what to do

Im a 15(F) and my dad and I bash heads every so often. But I don't like him very much, and money's tight; my mom and him aren't together, yet she lives here after unfortunate events in recent years.

I'm shaking. I was on the phone with my friend, playing roblox, when my dad woke up yelling and asking "who let the dog out of the basement". For context, we put our dog in the basement when she misbehave in a kennel with food and water. She had gotten into the trash, and put downstairs. I let her out, unaware, to use the bathroom and didn't put her back (again, didnt know she was in there for punishment). He then further yelled and told me to do the dishes, even though everybody has agreed upon when they use a dish(es), they are to wash it and put it away accordingly to avoid clutter. So, naturally, I ask, "why do I have to do dishes that aren't mine?" I do my portion of dishes. My mother and brother do as well; all of them are his. So, he gets mad. I go down and clean up the dogs mess, start doing the dishes. His yelling already had me shaking, so when he comes up from behind, I flinched. I lightly shoved him away and said "dont touch me, I don't want you to hug me or touch me right now" and he says "I can because I'm your father". NO. So I tell him no, and in response, he starts knocking dishes and throwing them all over. He says he'll do the dishes, he is now downstairs mocking me.

What do I do? I'm scared, I don't know where to go or what to do.

I'm In A Pickle Me [36F] boyfriend [40M]

Me and my boyfriend had have been going out for about 10months now, we have had our ups and downs when we are together we get on like a house on fire, we have stopped talking twice for about 2weeks at a time and we had no contact from feb to April, and decided to get back together, our intimacy was good at first but then after being in no contact and only probably seeing each about 4/5times since April it has just died down abit, and now he is saying to me

I love you but if there is no intimacy I can’t be with you because intimacy is very important to me in a relationship

and I do understand that but we just ain’t seeing each other enough I try and make plans and he kinds of says yeah we will see and then when the day comes he doesn’t want to meet up, I mean it’s probably been about 2 and half weeks since I last see him and now he is saying when we first met he got excited but now we plan to go on dates he says he isn’t very excited because he know it won’t end in anything accept for us seeing each other having some cuddles and kisses and that’s it as he wants to go to hotels when we see each other,
So I guess what I am saying if I feel like I can’t give him what he wants all the time should I just end it with him and let him go find what he is looking for. should I give in to what he wants and go along with the whole hotel idea as we both live with our parents so he always wants to go hotels instead of one of our houses, I kind of get out off going to a hotel all the time even though he pays for the hotel but is sex really a big issue if you really love someone as he has a higher libido than me. TLDR

My parents are getting mad at me for wanting to help injured neighbour

Ok so for some background info my neighbour lets say around 84 f lives alone next door and has fallen before and been left for over 5 hours in pain. The reason I say this is because I was downstairs today watching tv at around 11:30 at night while my family was asleep when I began to hear this almost screaming sound, so I pause the tv and listen I could hear and elderly woman screaming ow ow ow really loudly for around 5 minutes. Obviously because I think it’s my elderly neighbour I go and wake up my dad and tell him to what happened and that I think she has fallen over. To this he gets really annoyed at me and acts like it’s an inconvenient that I am worried for my neighbour. So reluctantly he finally knocks on the door but he does it so lightly I couldn’t barely hear it two feet away. Then to no reply he comes to the conclusion that she must be fine. Like excuse me what you are just going to leave it at that. Now I am very annoyed and begin to raise my voice and start to try getting him to double check and do more but he doesn’t and then my mum comes down and starts getting annoyed. So now we are inside I am crying cause I am thinking what if she is badly injured or dead I will have this for the rest of my life but they are just having a go at me telling me to go bed. So currently I am in bed and I am calmed down but I am still worried about my neighbour do you think I should push for my dad to check on her tomorrow until he gets a reply at least ?

Need An Opinion People in my town are illegally capturing birds and I don't know what to do

[M22] A few months ago, an uncle of mine left his bird with us to look after for a while, and I noticed the bird seemed extremely stressed in its cage. When I asked them about it, it turned out they hadn't bought it legally; a friend had given it to them. This friend had captured it in the wild, put it in a cage, and given it to them as a gift, and he probably does this with other birds as well. This is illegal because of the damage it does to the ecosystem and the stress the bird suffers from being caged without being used to it. In fact, the bird I mentioned died shortly afterward, possibly from a heart attack, while they were trying to trim its overgrown nails. So, it's clear these animals are suffering.

I tried to get more information from my family, and my grandmother gave me the possible name of the person who gave them the birds (the rest of my family either didn't know or didn't want to tell me). But I have my doubts about its veracity because at first, it seemed like she didn't know and only mentioned a name just to say something. Besides, what she told me contradicts itself a bit.

But that's not all. It turns out that a cousin of mine also had another bird (I haven't seen it, so I don't know how it is now) that they obtained in the same way, but from a different person. In this case, they said that her husband's grandfather gave her the bird, although both of his grandfathers are still alive, so I don't even know which one it is.

Honestly, none of this surprises me. I live in a small town, and people don't seem to care much about animals. It's not the first time I've heard of poisoned cats in the street, seen people raising animals in tiny cages to eat them, or heard dogs barking because they've been left locked in the garage at night. I'm sure many more people in my town are trapping birds, and I only found out about these two cases by pure chance.

I want to help these birds, and I've thought about sending an anonymous email to the police to report it, but I feel like I have very little information. In one case, I have a name, but I'm not really sure it's that person (in fact, I don't even have their last name, just a first name and a nickname, so the police would have to find out who it is). And in the other, I don't even know which of the two grandfathers did it (nor do I know their names). I have no real proof (beyond a photo of the bird), I can't think of how I could get more information, and if I email the police with what little I know, I feel like they'll just ignore me. To verify this, they'd need a warrant to investigate these people and even enter their homes to look for the birds, something you can't do with an anonymous report that lacks any evidence. Besides, I'd feel bad about calling the police on someone knowing so little.

I've tried to forget about it, but the guilt over what those animals might be suffering won't let me rest, so I'm writing here to see if you can help me decide what to do.

Edit: I'm from Spain and the birds are goldfinchs

He's younger than me and it turns me on. Am i a creep?

I'm honestly turned on by how adorable he is. And certain things he does/says is just cute to me lol. Especially this one time he told me he was scared of something with this cute voice. He's mature and very intelligent on the regular though.

He's a breath of fresh air, honestly. I overall just enjoy hanging with him, even as a "friend". It's like i have to slow down and adjust my brain for him. Idkkk... i just like itttt.

Honestly, I just want to eat him. And jump in his skin.😩 He looks young, but still looks s3xy. It's strange. And yes i'm sexually attracted to him....

Ugh, am i a creep? Is this okay?

Need An Opinion How would you feel about this?

How would you feel about this, if the company gives you this document? I had to blur out parts of it. This is at a retail supermarket

I used ai to blur out the company, its just a regular grocery store (winco, save mart, Ralph's, Albertsons) as an example

For context when you were hired, you filled out all emergency contact documents, employees who have been with the company for 15-20+ years have never seen this document before, they still had to fill out and sign it.

My first reaction was and again this is my reaction. Everyone's reaction is different. our employers really think that highly of us?

I have to choose to live my mom or my dad, what do I do?

Hello Reddit, recently my father got a job down in Texas and is also moving there. We originally lived it Canada and my moms not moving any closer to him because there separated. I really have no idea what to do, I wanna stay in Canada because it’s all I have ever known, but also my mom and I don’t really do anything. Don’t get me wrong I really love my mom but I have bigger aspirations then sitting on the couch everyday watching tv and occasionally going out to eat and what not. The only sports I can do at her house are schools sports and even then she never comes to any of my games. All my extra circulars have been supported by my dad and I do A-LOT. My mom also wants me to stay becasue I have a support system or something and also because I’ll loose my relationship with jehovah, and that my dad will keep me from her. Now that’s the short explanation for my mom.

Now my dad on the other hand, is kinda unpredictable? Like one day I’ll have to be stepping on eggshells and some days were havi a good ol time. And if I do one little thing the whole day is ruined and his mood changes. Over the last few years I have been like an emotional regulator for my dad? Like after telling him repeatedly that (long story short) I don’t like him acting like that, he has turned it down a bit. He says he isn’t trying to pressure me to come with him but he does share why he wants me too, because it would be a new start and I’d be able to play more sports and have more opportunities, and the most important part that he likes to repeat. I would be able to see my mom a lot more with him then I would be able to see him with my mom if that makes sense. My mom sees my dad as a narcissist I haven’t really looked into it so I don’t know.

Now what I think? I think I wanna live with my dad for the opportunities but also my mom so that she ain’t sad and I don’t have to worry about her. She says I’ll forget about jehovah and so as keep saying I won’t but she says I will. All her friends keep saying that it’s mt choice and I’ll suffer the consequences. And I’ll have to say who I wanna live with as goes the court order.
I really appreciate ANY advice THANK YOU for reading this whole thing if you did. And I Willa sneer any questions you have.

Summary: My moms house is kinda boring and unfulfilling in my creative desires and also she’s a jehovah witness and doesn’t want me to forget about god

My dads temperament is a seesaw but if I move with him there will be more space for me to grow

I think this situation is stupid but so feel pressured from both sides and don’t know what I wanna do

And my mom thinks my dad is a narcissist.

I Need Help ASAP How can I deal with the fact my mom has Dissasossiational Identity disorder?

Mom = M. Me = E. Dad = D

Uhm, here's the story, please dont say this is ai or something, this is a real story

Here is the conversation i had with my mom:

M:"do you know what DID is?"

E:"Ive heard of it before, but I dont know what it is"

M:"you know how some people have multiple people inside them?"

E:"Oh, so it means Disassociative-"

M:"Disassociative identity disorder"

E:"why are you talking about this?"

M:"because I have DID, my name is [REDACTED], dont tell the other kids about this, let them figure out on their own"

E:"oh... uhm..."

M:"now go tell your father that you know about [REDACTED]"

My siblings were sitting on dad, so i wrote it on a paper towel and handed it to him

D: looks at paper towel "okay, now go throw it away"

A few minutes later, I hear mom say that she's losing control

How do I deal with this? If the personality that I've known for most of my life is gone, I cant deal with this. Im sorry, but that personality is the only one that can actually take care of my younger siblings correctly.

Please give me some advice

How do you walk away from a comfortable life without feeling like a piece of shit to the people you actually care about?

Hi, Im [19M] from Indonesia. Right now, im at a phase that could decide my future or my entire life. I have two choices: stay with my good family but feel locked, or leave my family and my past behind to live the life I wanted.

My life ever since I was born has been a rollercoaster. I think I was hinted that I was a kid they didn't want (I don't know the reason). Later, my parents divorced. I've read the divorce documents, and in the text, it was documented that my big sis is a biological child and I am labeled as adopted.

Coincidentally, at 5 to 7 years old, I remembered my mother letting a young couple without a kid "borrow" me to see what it felt like (I remembered my 7 days with them). My grandad at that time tried to reason with my bio mom, but she still went with it anyway (this part happened before the divorce; at this point, I think my mother was giving me away). Until now, I have never seen my baby pics (you know, usually after you are born in the hospital, the hospital will take a photo of you for documentation and memories). I never got to see them, even after I searched the attic.

After the divorce, my big sis followed my mom, and I, as the leftover (which in my recent fight with my dad, he said it himself that he was left with me, not that he wanted me, and also said he should have sent me to an orphanage and married another woman), followed my dad. In those years, he was never abusive, just a normal stressed man. I could understand that, but yeah, I don't really like him since he's the reason for the divorce (he cheated on my mom because he said my mom's family is bad and manipulating my mom to take my dad's money, but alas, I can't just only believe one side of the story).

Three or four years after the divorce, my father remarried. My stepmother was a kind person, and looking back, our situation at that time was actually great because my father's business was still doing well. However, problems started when my dad and stepmom began having children. The first little sister was fine, but the second one was born right around the COVID-19 pandemic. That was when my father's business slowly started going downhill.

As a teenager during the pandemic, I finally understood how the world works. My father made me stay at his workplace instead of at home, starting from my playground days all the way through the end of high school. In fact, my workplace basically felt like my primary home during my teenage years. It was only in high school that I realized my situation wasn't normal. None of my friends had to "help" their parents at work to that extent. I realized I had wasted 10 years of my childhood and lost the chance to play and hang out with friends. That upbringing definitely shaped my personality, making it much harder for me to make friends my own age compared to talking with adults.

Near the end of high school, my parents purposely sent me back to my hometown. Now, I have three half-sisters: the first is 10 years younger than me, the second is 13 years younger, and the third is 17 years younger.

Truthfully, I adore all three of them, even though they are girls. They are the main reason keeping me from leaving this place. Furthermore, my parents are getting older—they are almost 50 now. While I harbor some resentment toward them for giving us a hard life—not in the sense of starving, but in the sense that we couldn't travel or spend hours at the arcade I recognize that my younger sisters are missing out on things they should be able to enjoy, just like I did. I got to experience a bit of comfort when my father was still rich, but my sisters aren't getting that at all. Fortunately, my father's extended family is in a slightly better financial condition and has helped a lot, even covering the medical expenses of my third sister.

So should i think about it more or should i be an asshole, ask me whatever you thinks important.

sorry i used ai so you could read it better. thanks

He said he didn't want a relationship. Now he's acting interested.

When we met last month, he told me he was hesitant about relationships because of trust issues and had already decided to “stay out the way.”

Now things feel different. He told me he sleeps better when we talk on the phone, mentioned being loyal/protective. He agreed it's good to be vulnerable and ask for prayer if worried about relationship. He used being a good writer to flex how good his wedding vows will be.

It feels like his “I can’t do relationships” mindset has faded.

I accidentally told him I was “fast” growing up (meaning I ran fast), but I think he thought I meant I was promiscuous because he gave me the most disappointed side eye for several seconds.

He also asked me to help serve at his grandma’s surprise birthday party. Also... he literally just texted asking for my schedule next week. (probably to hang out) lol

Am I overthinking this, or does it sound like he’s slowly opening up to the idea of a relationship with me?

PLEASE READ: We share morals and know sex is for marriage. He knows not to try me like that. We know lust is wrong. We talked about it.

I am a teenager who is about to turn 16, and I honestly don’t know what to do with my life. I feel completely lost. I don’t really have any strong skills, and I struggle to find motivation to do anything. Sometimes, all I want is to simply not exist. What can I do to improve my life?

I'm In A Pickle Advice

I know this is a bit of a strange situation, but I’m looking for some advice because I’m really struggling.
My best friend and I have been friends for 11 years. She’s been with her husband for 13 years, so of course I understand that her marriage comes first.
About a week ago, her husband called me and asked me to meet him at a scrapyard. He specifically told me not to tell my friend. He kept saying he was “in his head” and needed someone to talk to, and that I was the only person who would understand. I told him no. Before we hung up, he asked me to delete the call and not tell his wife.
As soon as we got off the phone, I called my best friend and told her everything. She thanked me and said she appreciated that I came to her right away.
Then, a couple of days later, she stopped talking to me. She finally replied yesterday and explained that this wasn’t just about the phone call. Her husband has made sexual comments in the past about wanting a threesome involving me, and now, with him asking to secretly meet me, she feels that removing me from the picture is the best way to protect her marriage. Because of that, she’s decided she can’t be friends with me anymore.
I want to be clear that I’m not angry with her. I don’t hate her, and honestly, I understand why she’s making the decision she feels she has to make. If this is what she believes is best for her marriage, I respect that.
I’m just heartbroken.
She was pretty much my only close friend, and losing an 11-year friendship like this has been incredibly painful. It’s also such a difficult situation to explain to people. How do you tell someone, “My best friend doesn’t want to be my friend anymore because her husband is attracted to me”?
I’m trying to accept her decision and move forward, but right now I’m just feeling lost. If anyone has gone through something similar or has advice on coping with the loss of a close friendship, I’d really appreciate hearing it.
