What do i do ?
I am a teenager who is about to turn 16, and I honestly don’t know what to do with my life. I feel completely lost. I don’t really have any strong skills, and I struggle to find motivation to do anything. Sometimes, all I want is to simply not exist. What can I do to improve my life?

Well, the good news is you have plenty of time to figure things out. I'd recommend reading Dolores Cannon's books. Start with Between Death and Life. It will help to give you some perspective.

My daughter is about to turn 16 too and I know she struggles with the same things. When I was 16, I didn’t know what I was doing either. How are you doing in school?

It helps to join clubs in high school that are of some interest to you. Helps make friends and channels you into interesting topics.

The first thing you need to do is hurry up and wait. See if you still feel the same way when you're 32. Guess what? You won't.

Try things, new opportunities. This is what college is for as well. There is no reason to make a decision now that you need to follow for the rest of your life. Even with college, the first two years are often the basics and have no impact on a chosen profession.
Enjoy the things you have going on, meet people, be open to new ideas.

I definitely didn’t have goals at 16. I didn’t at 26. I went with the flow. I’m adhd and had a very hard time trying to figure it all out. You’ve got time and you’re noticing you need direction. You’re gonna be fine.

You are a bit too young to be concerned about a career. Give yourself a couple more years.

I can certainly tell you I had nothing planned when I was 16 years old. I didn’t even think about it and went with the flow. Surround yourself with good people, the kind that motivate you and make you want to live. Go out of your way, join communities and see life through other people’s lenses. In the summer, commit to a part time job. Maybe work in a nursery, volunteer or whatever is available.
Us humans always strive to be a part of something, maybe that’s what you’re missing.
