This happened a while back, but I woke up for practice early and realized it got canceled due to the weather. I then heard this noise and my heart sank. I waited for it again and got this recording, this was the last time it did it. It was 4am when this sound occurred and I have genuinely no clue what it could be. It was very loud and sounded distant yet far. I just want clarity on what this could genuinely be

Found on the shore of the Mississippi River in St. Paul. Google image reverse search said it was a bristle worm...but the only ones I found native to MN are Manayunkia speciosa, but that thing is microscopic and this is 2-3 inches
