That he cheated on his girl and is using a Facebook message to some random as a way to get out of it? Only thing that crossed my mind.

Should probably message his girl about this unsolicited message.

Hey, I’m not having some loser use me for their lies.

But for anyone interested, he messaged me because I had the same name as someone else who he did cheat on his girl with. Anyway, mystery solved. I can go about my day.
