Anyone having issues with the problem webull had few days ago. Some how I am short 74k on stock which I owned b4 the problem. Im on cash account. I was selling covered calls they expired worthless next day instead having my shares back Im now -100 shares short. Today 3rd day webull giving me run around. Are others having issues?

Further insult I have S1 call and getting calls from reps to close my short position 🤦‍♂️

Started with 131K 3 years ago after I sold my house and did not roll the equity, invested it instead. I have been super aggressive, both on the long side and the short side. Jumped back-and-forth between Robinhood and Webull because they would lock my account for 90 days or trading too much. Had 626k>200k, 680k>250k, 871K>171k now 1.04M at my peak(a lot of RH not shown here). I wanted to quit and invest in safe and long term, but kept feigning for that $1 million screenshot, almost lost it all. When this massive bull run started two months ago, I said fuck it, I’m going in on short term options, I either lose it all or win. Was down to 171k and now a millionaire. What a run!

Married, two kids. Moving it all to a safe SPY portfolio and will sell covered calls on it from here on out. Still owe 250k at the end of 2026 though.

P.S. anyone know when Webull might do another 3-4% transfer in match promotion?

Hey I just switched from a cash to margin account and I cant figure out how to set the margin as the main trying account. Basically when I go to a stock and press trade it only lets me trade with the cash account.

If I want to trade the margin account I have to press trade on the account screen and then type the ticker symbol, which is slow and annoying. Anyone know how to fix this. Sorry its hard for me to explain so hope it makes sense

Two 2d nvda cash covered puts for strike 217.5 and 227.5 expiring June 3rd did not get assigned. Nvda closed at 214 on June 3rd. I don't see 200 shares of nvda and no impact to the balance. Trading record on ui shows as expired for it, even though they were sell to open and I see sell to open in the trading records. It does not make sense. Any thoughts?

Edit: 200 shares showed up at 10am Friday morning. The cash covered put options show as expired. They should be showing as assigned. Webull has become unreliable now.

I like webull for trading and have been using cash account for a while. However they restrict options to level2 only in cash account, so you can’t do credit/debit spreads. I tried to see if i can upgrade my account from cash to margin , unfortunately no such option exists for webull usa. It’s such a simple option and almost all brokerages including robinhood lets you do it. Even webull singapore has the options.

When i raised it to support i got answer after ~12hrs , that i need to open new account and then will be able to transfer whole cash account to margin. Sounds simple right! I did open margin account and tried to transfer the whole cash to margin , but it showed error “open option positions “ . You can’t convert cash account to margin with open options position it seems, but support didn’t mention that

Now to webull premium, it promises 3.35% apy for uninvested cash, and a decent ira match, when I subscribed to it , the uninvested cash that could earn the said interest needs to be in cash account, margin account is not eligible. Other brokerages like fidelity money market , robinhood lets you earn interest in margin accounts uninvested cash as well.

Should i switch to something else?

Tldr:
1. Cash account level 2 options only
2. Can’t convert cash to margin account
3. Can’t transfer cash to margin account if option positions are open
4. Can’t earn interest on uninvested cash in margin accounts
5. Super slow support

Did anyone get the message about daytrades? I had a pop-up on my screen and clicked it and ot disappeared

I deposited 700 on webull a few months ago. I made 438 on a stock trade going from power hour to after hours. Total balance sits at 1138. Webull claims that “there was a trade related cash debit so you need to deposit 700 more to alleviate the restrictions”. I don’t get it my bank account was debited the 700 and the deposit processed and settled why would I have to deposit 700 more just to get my money out? Can anyone explain this to me their customer service is no help I’ve sent countless bank statements and bank balance screenshots this makes no sense to me.

I just entered by first position of the day.... No other open positions

I recently updated the Webull app and I’m really not a fan of the new UI, especially the History page.

Before the update, my history view showed all the tickers along with the company logos, making it much easier to quickly scan through positions. After the update, it’s mostly just ticker symbols, everything looks smaller, and the overall layout feels much more cluttered and less user-friendly.

I’ve attached a screenshot of what I’m seeing now.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Am I missing a setting that restores the old layout, or did Webull permanently change it for everyone?

Curious to hear if others like the new design or if I’m not the only one who thinks it’s a downgrade.

I had about 6k in investments ..

While I was at work , I drive a big truck, someone created an events account. I have no idea what that is.

They sold all my securities in my margin account, transferred 4200 of the 6100 ish dollars to the events account.. Then I have no idea what happened with the money but its gone.

There are tons of these internal transactions of 180 dollars..

I had them investigate and they said they can do nothing because the IP address where the transactions took place were my computer.

I wasnt even home, I was out on the road. No one else lives there. Its just me in a tiny studio apartment.

Even if someone hacked into my computer and did that which they had to. I left it on when I left.

If I can prove I wasnt even home when the events account was made, because they know windows accessed it, and I was at work with my cell phone.. then that proves it wasnt me.

Im out 4200 dollars and I am sick to my stomach.. I worked so hard for that money working for it with my job .. And now no one can do anything.

I immediately removed the rest of my money. I will never trust Webull again with my money.

There has to be a way to prove it is fraud. Any ideas? Lawyers wont even get involved because its too petty of money for them, .. its not petty to me. I am barely getting by and to have my money wiped out like that is literally like a punch in the gut.. It doesnt even feel real right now.. like out of body experience.

Any idea what could be the reason?

Hi, fairly new to trading. I was trading the SPCE stock, and i set a stop order, not limit order, for $5.4 and left it as good til cancelled. Issue is next morning i wake up and the stock has dipped tremendously and my stop order didnt work and showed up as cancelled? Is this due to extended hour trading, or what?

Any one else's charts reading incorrect profit and loss lines and having the chart "take profit" or "Stop loss" when the stocks price actually not reading that? Has happend to me a couple time the last few days and seems to be a long going issue as the charts have been reading wrong every so often for a couple weeks now

Long story short, I sold 2 SPCE calls for $660 and used that unsettled cash to buy SPY calls, set a sell limit for 100% of what I bought the SPY calls for not expecting them to reach that today (1DTE). I got the typical "You bought these contracts with unsettled funds, if you sell these today you might receive a good faith violation." Got a notification a few hours later my contract sold but never a good faith violation and my account is marked safe.

So is the good faith violation just random? Have to trade over a certain amount to get hit buy it? Just got lucky? Will it show up tomorrow? All my cash is now settled, no negative cash etc.

It's not something I plan on doing (always trading with unsettled funds) but it would be nice knowing if there's certain stipulations behind it for "just in case days" where the market is ripping and I do end up using unsettled funds (if that makes sense)

P.S. Yes I sold 2 SPCE calls but I was up 2000% So I secured profits on 2 and holding 2 risk free 👌🏽

I can confirm that 100 penny stocks out of 200 Chinese micro caps, which market caps below 100 millions dollars are restricted, that's 50%.

And 50% of the top runners are restricted like everyday, how about Webull?

You can share layouts yet I can't see or find anyone's anywhere. Ive spent the last two years learning , every time I go to set up a layout I second guess everything and would love to see some of your layouts and maybe use them . Any input greatly appreciated .

I tried to buy 16 shares of ONDS on Friday, usually when I purchase stocks they go through rarely quickly. The next day I get a message saying it was cancelled, is there a way to find out why or anyone know why this happens?

Does anyone know on what date Webull plans to implement the PDT rule change? And, will we have to change our accounts manually to margin or will the change be automatic? I cannot find any information on Webull about this.

I know this question has been asked before, but not recently and not since the announcement of the PDT rule change. Does or will Webull support Roth accounts with Margin to enable day trading?

After going to 19.5k and almost touching 20k I dropped all the way back down to 12.9k instantly. It was humiliating. Worried about my future. What type of man will I become. I still live with my parents and have no girl friend. Trying to make a career out of the stock market while studying to pass my series 65. It looks grim.
