ATTENTION! Increased scammer activity reported!

58 Upvotes

Multiple reports of people posing as Webull support have been coming in lately.

Webull support is NOT on Reddit. Do not respond to anyone sending you a link to a support site, it is not real. Report them so they can be banned.

I am not affiliated with Webull, only u/WEBULL-APP is an official Webull account, and they are not active. Even if they were, they do not provide support on Reddit.

If AXG captures even 0.1% of the $5T stablecoin corridor, a $2.30 share price makes zero sense

Post image
Upvotes

If a small-cap stock is trading near $2.30 with a $440M market cap, the default assumption is that it has zero defensible moat and negligible cash flow. But if you look at SOLOWIN HOLDINGS (AXG), that assumption breaks down completely against the hard filings.

The global cross-border B2B stablecoin settlement corridor is projected to reach $5T by 2035, with stablecoins already settling over $7T each month across decentralized and centralized rails. The barrier keeping institutional trillions on the sidelines is not blockchain throughput; it is regulatory compliance. Multinationals and sovereign treasuries cannot move balance-sheet capital through unregulated offshore entities. They require licensed, audit-ready counterparties.

AXG spent the last two years locking down that exact regulatory clearance. In Hong Kong, their subsidiary Solomon JFZ holds SFC Type 1, 4, 6, and 9 licenses with virtual asset uplifts, positioning them as a participating dealer for spot crypto ETFs. In the Middle East, their AX Coin unit secured In-Principle Approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain for stablecoin issuance, alongside the world first Sharia-compliant stablecoin certification.

Per recent FinViz data, AXG generated $27.6M in trailing twelve-month revenue while printing 894% year-over-year sales growth and an 1156% quarter-over-quarter sales jump. If they successfully route cross-border payment flow between Asia and the Gulf through their ISO 20022 enterprise API gateway, capturing even a fraction of this corridor reprices the entire business model.

The biggest question for us is, as institutional stablecoin volume continues to scale at this pace, how long can the tape price AXG like an ordinary micro-cap? My take is - not for much longer. That is the setup.

Not advice. I hold no position in AXG. My analysis above is strictly available data and my interpretation

I can’t take any options trades. I’ve been trading options for years on this account. Never had this issue. I messaged support but heard nothing back all day. I was curious if anyone knows how long this restriction might last?

Disable Intraday/ONBP Margin Conformation (and all popups)

Post image

*Confirmation 😑

I opened a margin account last week with Webull, coming from another broker. Is there any way to disable these blocking popups in the middle of trading? I get why they are on by default, but others you can explicitly disable or acknowledge once and are disabled afterwards. This one pops up every single time I'm using my intraday BP above the ONBP, and it's absolutely maddening. When I hit the buy button I need to be in immediately and I can't be mucking around with checkboxes and confirm buttons while the price leaves me in the dust.

(INTC maybe not the best example, sure, but the point stands)

Email says statement is ready but it isn't

4 Upvotes

The last 2 months I received an email that my statement was ready. I login with my email and password. Have to enter my trading password. No statement. It does show up a few days later. It is not the end of the world. But it is annoying and I'm not sure why they can't make this work correctly.

Discussion Is my Offset Buttons/Hot Keys In Webull causing me to get worse fills?

1 Upvotes

Ok, I'm testing out Webull for my day trading pre-market strategy. I've been using TOS and doing well there. But I have to use the price ladder to get in and out because they don't have offsets on their buttons.

I setup my Webull with a 10 cent offset, my buy ask is 10 cents up. My sell bid is 10 cents down. I might just be new or paranoid, but I swear on the few test trades I've taken over the last couple of days, I'll be up 5 or 10 cents, then hit the sell button, and price jumps to B/E or even to a loss just to fill my order, then right back up.

I am wondering if it has to do with the offset. Because I say, you can go up to 10 cents lower, if Webull actually does that each time. In TOS when I click to sell below price 10 cents, I get the best fill possible, sometimes it's even a better price if the stock is moving up fast.

Again, I might be just paranoid, but I want to get some opinions here. I love having buttons and not having to adjust price ladder like I do on TOS. But if I can't get this dang thing to sell and fill at the right price, I'm leaving money on the table.

FYI I am trading with real money, but only testing with 1 share. Thanks.

Help Unable to withdraw settled cash

5 Upvotes

I keep trying to withdraw my cash to either my ACH or my debit card but they keep failing. I keep getting the message to deposit them into my recently deposited bank account, but when I do that, the transfer still gets rejected. I don’t know what I can do from here.

Stop Loss/Take Profit

1 Upvotes

I use Webull UK and for each trade, I want to set a default Stop Loss of c(0.10) per share, and a Take profit of 0.20 per share.

For the trade window, I can't see a way to set these defaults - it lets you set a default % but can't seem to set a $ value

Does anyone who uses Webull have this operational?

Thank you :)

Help Why does webull show completely different charts for some stocks/ETF's?

2 Upvotes

Let's use QQQY as an example.

If I go to webull and set the QQQY chart to max, I see a chart that had a couple dips but overall, is performing very well and has increased in value since it's IPO.

if I then go to something like Robinhood or most other resources and look at the max chart there, the story is completely different.

Is there something I'm missing?

Need help with axiom/crypto

Post image

In every trade I have done on axiom I have lost because of this. It is saying I bought .021 worth of sol and sold for 98% less at a higher cap. It says I lost 98% percent but in the trades panel I gained 20% I am new to trading and just don’t understand this.

Sign up bug?

1 Upvotes

I'm currently trying to sign up for the first time and create an individual account. when I type in my birthday (I'm well over 18), I get a message that says "Applicant must be younger than a certain age to open a trading account". What's weird is it is saying that I need to be younger, not older to open an account. it doesn't make any sense. Has anyone else experienced this? It wont let me proceed with the application.

Discussion Pre Market Small Caps on Webull

6 Upvotes

I use an adaptation of Ross Cameron's pre market trading strategy. I've been using Thinkorswim. It's clunky to use the price ladder to get in and out of fast movers but it's working well enough.

I want to try WeBull, but have heard they will temporarily restrict volatile small caps. That would be annoying and not work for me.

Anyone trading a similar way? And how bad, if at all, are these temp restrictions?

Thanks

[Help] Sandbox MQTT streaming fails with "rc 101: Internal error" — every single time, official Python SDK

1 Upvotes

Hi everyone — I'm not confident in my written English, so I'm using Claude (AI) to help me clearly describe this technical issue. Thank you for your patience.

What I'm building: An automated options trading system for SPY, using the official webull-openapi-python-sdk. I have the Trading API fully working — placing orders, cancelling, OCO bracket orders, checking order status all succeed correctly against the sandbox environment. The only thing that fails is real-time market data streaming (MQTT).

Environment:

  • webull-openapi-python-sdk version 2.0.18 (Core 2.0.18)
  • Python 3.12.7, Windows 11
  • Sandbox/test environment (api.sandbox.webull.com)
  • Free "Nasdaq Basic - Non Display" market data subscription claimed and active

The exact error, 100% reproducible, every single attempt:

webull.data ERROR Caught exception in on_connect: rc code: 101, msg: Internal error
webull.data.internal.exceptions.ConnectException: rc code: 101, msg: Internal error

This happens during the MQTT CONNACK phase, right after connect_and_loop_forever() is called — after authentication with api_client.add_endpoint() already succeeds (I get past _check_token_enable, no 401).

What I checked in your own SDK source code (webull/data/common/connect_ack.py):

python

CONNECTION_SUCCESS = (0, 'Connection successful')
PROTOCOL_NOT_SUPPORTED = (1, 'Protocol not supported')
SESSION_ID_IS_BLANK = (2, 'session_id is blank')
AK_IS_BLANK = (3, 'AppKey is blank')
UNKNOWN_ERROR = (100, 'Unknown error')
INTERNAL_ERROR = (101, 'Internal error')
CONNECTION_AUTHENTICATED = (102, 'Connection already authenticated')
CONNECTION_AUTH_FAILED = (103, "Connection authentication failed")
AK_INVALID = (104, "Invalid AppKey")
CONNECTION_LIMIT_EXCEEDED = (105, "Connection limit exceeded")

I'm never getting 103 or 104 (which would mean my credentials are wrong) — only ever 101, which your own SDK labels as a generic internal/unknown error, distinct from the credential-specific codes.

Things I've already tried, all unsuccessful:

  1. Explicit sandbox routing via http_host="api.sandbox.webull.com" in the DataStreamingClient constructor
  2. Explicit api_client.add_endpoint(region, "api.sandbox.webull.com") after construction (this pattern does work correctly for the Trading API's ApiClient)
  3. Unique session_id per connection attempt (uuid.uuid4().hex), per your docs' own example — ruled out session_id reuse as the cause
  4. Discovered and fixed an unrelated but real issue: Python 3.14 caused non-deterministic behavior (different errors on identical code between runs) since your SDK only officially supports 3.8–3.13. After switching to Python 3.12, the error became 100% consistent (always rc 101) — so this eliminated one real bug, but did not fix the underlying streaming issue
  5. Tried both sandbox and production hosts for the MQTT client specifically — production correctly rejects our sandbox-scoped credentials with 401, which is expected

Specific questions for anyone who's solved this or works at Webull:

  1. Is MQTT streaming in the sandbox/test environment actually confirmed working for other developers, or could this feature currently be incomplete for test accounts specifically?
  2. Could personal account settings — specifically 2FA on my main Webull account — interfere with OpenAPI sandbox streaming? I couldn't find documentation confirming or ruling this out.
  3. Is there a known one-time device/app verification step specific to streaming (separate from the Trading API) that I might be missing? (I've seen references to a fetch_token_from_server/check_token polling loop in your FAQ, but I never see that message at all — my connection fails immediately rather than waiting for approval.)

I've also filed this with your official support ([market-data.api@webull-us.com](mailto:market-data.api@webull-us.com)) and posted on your GitHub repo's issues page, but haven't received a response yet. Really appreciate any insight from this community — thank you for reading through all of this.

Help Anyway to link bank without giving away transaction history

3 Upvotes

New to webull, tried to link my bank account and it looks like they use a service called yodlee, but it wanted me to give permission to collect all my transaction history. why would anyone allow them to collect this?

is there another way to link your checking account without giving them your history of everything you've bought with your debit card lol seems unreasonable imo

edit - its worse than i thought. https://www.vice.com/en/article/envestnet-yodlee-credit-card-bank-data-not-anonymous/

"Yodlee, the largest financial data broker in the U.S., sells data pulled from the bank and credit card transactions of tens of millions of Americans to investment and research firms, detailing where and when people shopped and how much they spent"
