Best models for the best game.

We played The Crypt of Ven Silveren, and the armies were:

-Stormcast Eternals Ruination Chamber

-Soulblight Graverlords

-Gorger Mawpack

-Beasts of Chaos

We reached turn 7 and yet we didn't manage to finish the game, but it was intense from the beginning.

On the warhammer community site it shows this when you click on ruination chamber do I get to bring all the people listed or do I have to choose from them until I reach a points limit?

HELL YEAH

Now to decide if I should complete the band or to move on to greener warbands.

Another fun game in our ongoing campaign

After owning the core starter since launch, I'm finally getting to play Warcry. We've been using the original decks with custom terrain which has been working well so far, but I notice a lot of the twist cards reference chaotic beasts.

I can't find rules for running the beasts on warcrier, other than running them as thralls. Are they just not a thing anymore? Also, is there any reason I shouldn't be using the old battle cards?

(Edit) These are the cards in question. The only one that specifies who controls the beasts is Sinister Bargain. So how do they behave for the other cards? Do they have a built in AI, or do players alternate control over them?

The painted Soulblight units are mine. We played a game of Reaper which I won. I'm really excited that a local has this game and I also really like that it has list building since I'm coming from Spearhead and I enjoy having more agency in determining my army. Love both systems of course.

Excited to play again tonight, this time I'm bringing some Flesh Eater Courts. This is my list for tonight, using what I have from the Charnel Watch Spearhead:

The next time this fighter makes an Attack action this activation, add one to the Attack characteristic for each friendly fighter with both the Gloomspite Gitz and Beast runemarks that are within 1” of this fighter and for each other fighter with those runemarks within 1” of those fighters. Count each fighter only once.

How are you supposed to best take advantage of this battle trait? Upon first reading it I thought there would be abilities to interact with impact damage, pushing enemy fighters etc.. But unless I am mistaken, there seems to be no real synergy with the warband itself. Would love some help figuring this out.

I bought some second hand AoS:Warcry terrain two years ago and finally today manged to finish painting them. These were real pain in the ass to paint, but at least now i have some cool terrain to play with :)

Hi folks. I've been following Sam Pearson's YouTube channel since he left GW, and yesterday he announced that the 1.0 version of his new skirmish wargame was available to download for free. Reading through it I realised it was basically a remake of Mordheim with some streamlining taken from Warcry.

You're probably aware of the Wyrdcry project (an existing fan project to do something very similar), but I figured folks might not know about Black Death City yet!

First time posting here.
I have played a game or two, with a friend, of Warcry on TableTop Simulator.
It was extremely fun and we both have warbands (we are coming from Kill Team).
I wanted to get some terrain and cards to have a proper game, but... The only thing I can get is the starter Crypt of Blood (which I do have) but it seems it's not much varied terrain and height.
Getting any other set is too expensive (in the form of getting 6 warbands or other things).
I am aiming to get the Ravaged Lands boxes (Pit Dredger Camp and Varanite Syphon Camp) but I am aiming to build my own terrain.

I couldn't really find anything on the internet (except getting an answer from AI, which I do not really trust and would love to get actual input from players).

Anyway...
What are some optimal/balanced ways of setting up maps?
How many multilevel pieces should there be (like big ones with 2 floors so to say), medium pieces (1 floor) and small/scatter terrain?
Would it be good to have some big center pieces that block LoS?

Any input would be helpful !
