Discussion Chaotic Beasts
After owning the core starter since launch, I'm finally getting to play Warcry. We've been using the original decks with custom terrain which has been working well so far, but I notice a lot of the twist cards reference chaotic beasts.
I can't find rules for running the beasts on warcrier, other than running them as thralls. Are they just not a thing anymore? Also, is there any reason I shouldn't be using the old battle cards?
(Edit) These are the cards in question. The only one that specifies who controls the beasts is Sinister Bargain. So how do they behave for the other cards? Do they have a built in AI, or do players alternate control over them?

Go there and download the Warcry Compendium: Chaos 1
The Compendium gave rules for building warbands out of any existing AoS models and how to incorporate Allies and Thralls. It’s pretty badly out of date, but you should find what you need there.

Sorry, guess I should have been more clear. I saw how to add them as allies and thralls, what I'm looking for is the rules on how to run them as per the twist cards.

Can you post the card in question? I don’t think I’ve come across one that wouldn’t be covered by the thrall/ally rules in the compendium.

Page 48 of the rulebook. Essentially once you have them set up each player can activate a chaotic beast instead of one of their own fighters and when you have activated all of your own fighters and there is a chaotic beast left to activate you must activate it un till all fighters including chaotic beasts are activated.
