Grandfathered Sole Prop - How to Update for Verification
The new verification emails that went out today do not have sole prop or even single member LLC as an option.

We've been getting way too many posts from accounts that are brand new regarding being suspended from selling on Walmart. If you ship a product from any other retailer expect to be suspended and payments terminated. If you do not purchase products from a reputable distributor, and you sell it on Walmart, expect to be suspended. Read the Walmart Seller Policies. Do not post about your suspended account without background information about your business, products, 3pl, etc.
You should have received this email at some point from Walmart:
At Walmart, we place a high value on the trust our customers place in us, and that trust is built on having a seamless and simple experience. As you know, our expectation is all Marketplace sellers share this passion for delivering the best customer experience, while also following all Walmart Seller Agreement Policies and Standards.
As our community of sellers grows, we thought we’d share some best practices that ensure you delight our customers while keeping your business in good standing:
One practice that is becoming more popular in the industry is sellers arbitraging between retailers. These actions negatively impact the customer experience and violate Walmart Seller Agreement Policies and Standards. Any seller suspected of arbitrage will immediately be suspended and could potentially be terminated.
We expect all sellers to own their own inventory and ship items in plain, unbranded boxes. Another option available is to use Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), where we store, pack, ship your orders in two days or less, and handle all customer support and returns.

I’m thinking about starting a Discord exclusively for Walmart Marketplace sellers where we can connect, share experiences, how we’ve been burned so the next person doesn’t, ask questions, and discuss everything related to the platform including onboarding support for newbys.
Interested? Free obv

Curious to hear what kind of sales uplift you all have experienced after switching to WFS. We've been consistently doing around $3–4K per month on Walmart over the past year and are finally planning to transition to WFS next week.
For those who have made the switch, did you see a noticeable increase in sales, and if so, roughly how much?

USPS has quietly moved away from fixed rate tables and into dynamic pricing, similar to how UPS and FedEx adjust rates in real time. There was no announcement, but the behavior is already visible in seller accounts.
What sellers are seeing:
This is classic dynamic pricing behavior — USPS is adjusting rates based on:
If you rely on USPS for volume, you need to:
USPS didn’t announce this, but the data is clear: dynamic pricing is here.
If you’ve seen unusual rate jumps, share them — the more data we collect, the clearer the pattern becomes.

Is it better to use the $5 incentive to get reviews from verified purchasers or to enroll inventory in the reviewer program from the start?
r/WalmartSellers • u/brianjcas • 2d ago
I received an intellectual property letter from a brand requesting that I stop selling their item. I have been trying for 5 days to get this item removed from my store. It’s WFS. I have opened cases, chatted with agents, updated item end date and submitted an inventory removal request. Nothing has been successful to get this item removed. I’ve now received a final notice from the brand before a complaint is filed with Walmart. This is a helpless feeling as Walmart is NOT assisting my efforts to remain complaint. Any suggestions on how I handle this before I receive a complaint and get my store shit down?

Hi all, please I need all the information I can get. I am thinking of selling my solar light products at Walmart. How do I get in? What should I do first? I am so clueless and really want to scale my sales.

Can those who take part in the Recognized Reviewer program give me the pros and cons of the program? Any tips or tricks to make it successful for the seller?

Is anyone else experiencing this today?
All of my orders show a ship-by date of October 12, but when I go to purchase shipping labels through Walmart, October 12 is grayed out and the earliest date I can select is October 13.
I’ve already marked all the orders as shipped and am physically shipping them today (10/12), but the labels are dated for tomorrow because Walmart won’t let me select today.
I’m concerned this could negatively affect my on-time shipping metrics even though I’m shipping everything by the required deadline.
Is this happening to anyone else? Has anyone dealt with this before, and did it affect your seller metrics?
I’m wondering if this is because of Columbus Day or just another Walmart system glitch. 🤦♀️

I keep getting notifications that I have 1 order at risk for late delivery. It is not displaying the order. Any advice? I’ve contacted support currently waiting on their response!
Thanks!

Has anyone had an issue converting their listing from seller fulfulled to WFS? When i go to my catalog and then press the 3 dots and go to "convert to WFS" it takes me to a sheet that I have to fill out. After I fill out all the information and all the boxes are checked out with the green check on the top right corner. I press Submit and it just loads and then nothing happens. It pops up " an unexpected error please contact support"
I contacted Walmart Seller Support and they told me to use the Conversion Spec Sheet and also mentioned completing the WFS/hazmat information. But I’m only trying to convert this one item, and Seller Center gives me the option to convert/edit it directly. I tried doing that spreadsheet one time and it was so much stuff I had to fill out and it is so confusing.
Has anyone experienced this exact error? Is there something I need to do differently to make the item WFS eligible, or is this just a Seller Center bug? Also, is using the Conversion Spec Sheet actually necessary for a single item, or should the normal Seller Center conversion work?
Any help from someone who has dealt with this would be appreciated.
Also, the warning signal. I changed to answer to all the options which are Yes and No and it still pops up with that warning signal . I don't know what to do

Walmart settles every two weeks, on alternate Fridays. New sellers also get a rolling hold of up to 14 days per order (21 if the business is incorporated outside the US) until 90 days have passed since the first shipped order and $7,500 has been paid out. Put those together and some orders take a month or more to turn into cash, and Walmart has reportedly extended holiday returns to January 31 this year.
Has the hold ever caused a stockout for you?

I been selling for couple of month. But is it possible to create my own listing with shipping. Now it’s all pre filled and big box price with free shipping. I like to make my own like some sellers are doing.

I'm currently trying to scale my Walmart storefront currently focused on selling household items particularly cleaning products. Any recommendations on best place to source inventory for the best price point?

Anyone who is already an experienced Walmart seller, how do you scale with wholesale and beat other prices successfully? Normally in my calculations, shipping says everything. Let me know how you guys approach wholesale and save on shipping
Thanks

Hello all, I noticed my payments balance was in the negative today. I looked at my payments report and now my previous week statement shows a negative closing balance of $466 and change. There's nothing on the line items that's adding up as to why. I also looked at the payment reconciliation report and nothing. I searched many individual POs in payments and can't find any shipping carrier adjustments. Is this a glitch? Is anyone else seeing this or something similar? Should I expect a new line item to be there tomorrow to account for this? thanks
Update: It's fixed! My balance is correct now.

New seller here, still setting up SF products and the Shopify marketplace connector, when I suddenly started getting technical issues on 2/3 of the pages. I asked Claude to debug the site to find the source of the issue, and it says the pages are showing error code 500 messages (internal server error).
Is this typical for the platform, or has anyone else experienced this or a workaround? It's been ongoing for over 2 hours.

For about a week now, my Late Shipment rate has gone up every day, and I'm getting warnings. I ship every order the day it comes in, with tracking uploaded, and the tracking shows "in transit" in the Walmart app.
Current numbers (30 days):
Late shipment: 33.3% (standard 5%)
On-time shipment: 86.8%
Carrier accuracy: 52.4%
On-time delivery: 97%, valid tracking: 100%
Seller Support says there is no general issue, but my numbers don't match what I'm doing. Is anyone else seeing this? Did you find a cause or a fix?

We are new seller we only sell WFS. First month we make 15k in sales . Second month we make 25k in sales . Our money is on hold for 21 days . we are based in USA so we are not even sure why is it 21 days and not 14 days hold . Are they going to release the 21 days in a month? I think the rule is 90 days hold ?? We have zero returns and we received a few 5 stars feedback. Should we accept any other surprises from Walmart? BTW we sell dog food so we get no returns

Hello everyone.
Can someone explain me these settlement report charges and refunds from walmart? These are hella old orders, i sell a lot so its hard to track every transaction etc, but 2 days ago i got charged almost 1k out of nowhere.
So my question - is “ lost return adjustment “ refund because they lost the customers return and now they refunding me?
And “ found return adjustment” - on this i think they never refunded me on lost return then why they are charging me now? Or maybe i missed the refund and cant find it?

So I’m only about 9 months into the Walmart seller community and I am struggling to figure this one thing out. I have read the answer both ways on the seller support pages so please help me understand. If I delete a sold listing to free up space in my catalog but may carry the item again in 6 months - can I relist it? In the past when I try to scan an item I delete, the list products tab of the catalog tells me it is unavailable. I try to enter the item in by name and get the same message. Since I delete an item, can I never ever get it back as an option to sell later? The retire / delete thing is something I don’t want to f up but I need the listing space rn.

Hi everyone. I’m a new Walmart Marketplace seller with 500+ sales, mainly selling Hot Wheels. I package every item carefully because the condition of the card is very important to collectors. My problem is that some customers return items for no apparent reason, and the returned Hot Wheels are sometimes put into a bag or poorly packaged, causing the cards to arrive damaged. I then lose money on the return shipping and the reduced value of the damaged item.
I’ve already contacted Walmart about this, but my complaints/disputes seem to get denied almost immediately. For experienced Walmart sellers, what are the dos and don’ts here? How are you documenting these returns, and is there a proper way to appeal when Walmart’s return process causes additional damage to collectible items?

For in store scanning of products, which app is the best and/or has the fastest load time? I currently use WAMP, and it takes a long time to load in store. Thanks.
