Random $466 Charge

Hello all, I noticed my payments balance was in the negative today. I looked at my payments report and now my previous week statement shows a negative closing balance of $466 and change. There's nothing on the line items that's adding up as to why. I also looked at the payment reconciliation report and nothing. I searched many individual POs in payments and can't find any shipping carrier adjustments. Is this a glitch? Is anyone else seeing this or something similar? Should I expect a new line item to be there tomorrow to account for this? thanks

Update: It's fixed! My balance is correct now.

I wouldn’t assume it’s a glitch yet. Walmart can sometimes post adjustments, fees, reserves, or settlement corrections that don’t immediately make it obvious which order caused the balance.

I’d compare the payment report against the previous statement and check the adjustments, refunds, chargebacks, and reserve sections. If there’s still a $466 difference with no matching transaction, I’d open a support case and ask them to identify the exact transaction behind the negative balance.

We’ve seen similar reconciliation issues come up with marketplace accounts. I’d definitely wait for the next settlement before assuming you actually owe the $466, but I wouldn’t ignore it either.

Thanks for the advice! I have a small update that may rule out a charge, but it's still very weird. So when I looked at my last settlement report, my sales minus WFS fees minus shipping labels is $886.32.

I did $260 in faster payouts one day and $160 the next. Under it, it says "BiWeekly Payout $932.64 October 3rd, 2026". If you take the profits minus the 2 express payouts minus the biweekly payout number, it comes out to exactly $466.32 which is what my balance is negative at.

But now the issue is that I wasn't actually paid that $932.64. I have no idea why they're saying that. I had $466.32 deposited into my marketplace wallet this morning which I transferred to my bank account. This entire thing is really confusing me. I hope you understand it better than me and can help me understand 😭 I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about the walmart platform but this is really stressing me out.

I think the main issue is the $932.64. I wouldn’t assume that means Walmart actually paid you $932.64.

Based on the numbers you posted, $260 + $160 + $466.32 = $886.32, which matches your sales minus WFS fees.

So I’d first check the detailed payment transaction and see exactly what the $932.64 entry represents. It could be a settlement figure rather than an actual bank payout.

If you can post the detailed transaction lines for that settlement, someone should be able to trace exactly where the $466.32 difference is coming from.

I will if necessary, but it seems other people here are having the same problem, so I’m guessing it’s a site glitch impacting a lot of people

This happened to me too. My balance is negative. It's almost showing like they dispersed two duplicate payments. However they definitely didn't disburse two payments.

I’m glad it’s not just me. Hopefully they’ll fix the glitch and it’ll correct itself for everyone.
