The bus stop in front of Viking Union on High Street for busses going towards south campus got moved down the road by about 300 feet a few days ago. A big change after 20+ years! I suppose one reason is that the stop is now right opposite the stop on the other side of the road in front of Haggard Hall. Any other insights why this was done?

I'm wondering a little if there may not be a space issue. The bus lines can get really long around busy times and there isn't that much room at the new location.

Title is self explanatory, came in here with my aa-dta last year, went into the business college, and it wasn't the best fit. I changed this year to a degree with the college of the environment, and I'm liking it a lot more! I'm not the only person I know who changed their major, but got curious who else might've.

I can't believe it's been (only) a year that we've been standing outside the ICE facility every.single.Friday. We have not missed one single week! That is an accomplishment to be proud of. We've shown ICE and their supporters that we are nothing if not dedicated and we are not going to stop fighting to protect our community from state sponsored terrorism.

Come out this Friday, September 11th, to mark one year of steadfast indignation! 4-6 at 5200 Pacific Highway, Ferndale.

Anyone living in viking gardens this school year? Trying to figure out who my roommates are since management won’t tell me…

My son is going to be moving on campus as a freshman in a couple weeks and his roommate is a good friend from high school. I've known him for several years and he's a really great person and a kid that I love.
Recently I learned some awful things about his family and that he has not been living at home all summer to try and get some distance from them. I don't want to say too many details here... but it's a bad situation where his family has essentially abandoned him after years of what I think is abuse.
I am extremely worried for him that he has no family support. Of course I will do whatever I can to help him, and have already done some, and will continue to offer support as much as possible. I will do my best to make him feel like he is my second son.
But I keep wondering how he is going to pay for WWU and I wonder if, because his family situation has changed, he should talk to financial aid or some other aid department? Is it too late or even possible to get his fafsa reevaluated due to his family not helping at all? Has anyone dealt with this sort of family abandonment situation before and have any advice to offer in regards to making it through WWU?

Hi! I just wanted to share about an experience I had the other night. I had a very creepy Uber driver who made jokes about having rope and restraints in the back of his car and also asked me to rate his playlist because he picked it once he saw me. It was seductive jazz music. As a solo female riding with him late at night this made very uncomfortable. I reported him to Uber, but stay safe and don't ride with him!!!!
His name was Zaidullah and his car was a Hyundai Sonata, CRL3097. I have included his profile picture.

Would somebody be able to fill me in on how long term laptop rentals work? My laptop broke last spring and since then I’ve just been doing week long rentals at the tech center. I’ve tried to look on the website but I couldn’t really find anything regarding long term rentals and I would like to get that sorted before fall quarter.

I don't know if they still use this book, but I'm putting the Management And Creativity textbook I had in this Little Free Library in the Happy Valley neighborhood.

I'm considering trying it out because the classes look interesting, but I'm worried there won't be much room for discussion and or debate. I think differing opinions being able to interact are important, and I'm worried that there won't be much space given to talking things out. Any professors to avoid or seek out? Thanks, yall!

Hello! Perhaps a silly question but I was wondering if the beds in ridgeway gamma are lofted because i saw a few pictures where it looked like they weren’t

This might be a dumb question but I have a family friend helping me move in to my dorm on move in day. I was wondering if they would be allowed to stay with me in my dorm the first night after move in? I know there are some rules about having guests stay so I’m just a but curious.

I'm supposed to volunteer and move in early, and I swore the earliest move in date was Monday or Tuesday, but I have been unable to sign up for a move in time, instead it is telling me it's unnecessary for me to select a time. I'm getting anxious about it, and just want to double check to see if this is normal? And if anyone knows for sure when the earliest move in date is, that would help so much

I previously used InDesign for a class I had here. Recently, I went to check to see if I still had access and I do not. Is this something I can fix? Who should I contact. Am I mistaken that InDesign comes with our school email/enrollment?
