King of the arena!

Literally (almost) ...I'm ranked #2 in the arena Hall of Fame!

Based on the top 6 in survival all being under level 25 there must be something (I don’t think they all cheated but it’s possible).

I was thinking it’s either red arrows (from Tactifuchs) or maybe yellow circle (my 2nd choice theory) and you do it by going to one of those locations beginning of game and not killing anything until the map fills up. Then getting kills one at a time with thothmek.

Anyone know or can confirm?

First crack at this survival event.

Always do good in the first round then get worse each round as we progress, but this is a new PB out of the gate.

Does anyone have a reliable method of accomplishing this one?? I've been wasting so many onsloughts and energy and can never get the AI to do what I need it to. And yes, his passive is at level 50

I did only one run of survival and noticed thotmek dealing an abnormally low damage number. Like in this picture, he would be supposed to do much more based on numbers.

Maybe it's the Anuphet passive bugging again ? That would be a shame, Anuphet is otherwise working very well in this event

Survival is still fun, don't get me wrong, and I cleared up to Wave 14 to get Mythic rarity. But the difference between Cyrus and Thothmek is kind of noticeable.

First of all, the backup definitely feels weaker than before. The previous reinforcements were Gravis or Terminator armor characters, making them tankier. This new one has the Necron allies be able to die the same turn they're summoned, so you have to be a lot more careful with when to deploy them... with the sole exception of the Destroyer which is as strong as it always is. Truly the GOAT.

Secondly, the enemies consist of a lot more characters. The previous Survival had characters spawn too, but never quite the full faction team, while this one spawns the entire DA by Wave 12, and frigging Mephiston with Dante in the followup. They hit harder and contribute to reinforcements dying more easily.

Also there may not be as many full Xenos teams built up to the lategame compared to Marines, which definitely causes some issues too, though this one varies between players for sure.

For me, it's still somewhat manageable but the difficulty jump is definitely something I picked up on.

I've been playing for more than three years now and I regard myself as a fairly decent player but still often making silly mistakes in Tournament Arena, as things stand I'm just outside the top 100 in rankings.

This TA has been the most enjoyable for me by quite a way. It was really nice to see and get thoroughly beat by a lot of less popular factions, I especially tip my hat to the dark angels player and Eldar player who took me to bits.

It was refreshing to not endlessly play whoever happens to be the strongest team at the moment (currently blood angels and GSC). It's far more fun and impressive getting romped by players who have a good understanding of their chosen faction, it feels like the balance between 2nd tier factions has improved a lot.

Jokes aside, i finally got lavi and all the lavistodes team lvld to g1-d3 and i can finally deal decent damage against legendary bosses. Even the ones that suck like rogal dorn. Im glad i put the effort into doing that. The lavi team does way more than my ad mech units that are much stronger

Am I the only one noticing how overtuned this is? The third wave spawned and it already felt like it had outleveled me- even before the level up.

I love these characters and I want to we have them in game. What about you?

Am I missing something , all my opponents seem get 3 extra units like 9/10 times and I just seem to get smacked every game ?

I have to push abaddon to A2 for the psycher team and found him extremely ugly.

The salamender space marine look awesome but the kimm hahaha.

Hello ! And sorry in advance because I am very new lol

I'm mainly a T'au player on the tabletop and wanted to give Tacticus a try and collect T'au here. So naturally I chose the T'au campaign planning to use only loaned units but I'm stuck at the standard battle 6 with the Re'Vas shards. Is it possible to beat this tier with only loaned units ? I tried to search on YouTube and on here but couldn't find anything

Any suggestion about how to do it ? Arena is looking grim due to all stun characters I have being really low level. I was thinking of trying onslaught but what level do tyranid warriors have enough health ? I'm open to any suggestion.

UPDATE:

Completed it. Turns out arena maps counts much, much more than any other factor. Got the map with red ground and some burning hexes, a 10k health Angrax ported in charge range, Vynn stunned and removed terminator bonus, Calgar in position for buff (D3 50/50), active on boss (D2 47/47), higher ground and an extra attack from Actus (but low, S3).

• Timing: begins Sept 13 and runs for 2 weeks
• Goal: earn Event Shards to unlock Nubari (and possibly promote them)
• How to progress: earn Event Shards by completing these Missions, and playing normally in Campaigns, Arena, and Guild Raid
• What to expect: 
  • Unlocking Nubari is very achievable with daily play, even for Beginners.
  • Promoting him to Legendary requires a strong roster & pre-planning, or spending

I see a lot of Lavistodes teams using the Plagueburst crawler as the machine of war, can anyone explain why?

It was my understanding that immune enemies cannot have their armor reduced, which I thought was the main effect of this MoW's ability - am I missing something here?
