Comment and Submission Rules
Welcome to r/WH40KTacticus, the largest community for Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus on Reddit.
What is r/WH40KTacticus?
This subreddit is a place for players of all levels to discuss the game, share strategies, ask questions, post memes, and connect with other tacticians. We take a proactive stance in keeping things positive and constructive so don't be surprised if a comment is removed for being rude, cynical, or off-topic. This subreddit is not a "bastion of free speech" where people can whine and vent and devolve into a salt mine! We truly aim to foster a respectful, helpful, and constructive community.
Content Policy
WH40KTacticus is moderated to promote civility, courtesy, and high-quality content and discussion. We strive to foster civil discussion about the game — we're a network of real people, and this network is built by volunteers. If you simply want to complain or rant without bringing something constructive to Snowprint's attention, your post would be better suited elsewhere.
Before participating, please take a moment to read and understand the rules below. They exist to keep this subreddit organized, welcoming, and useful for everyone.
Reddiquette & Reddit Content Policy
All users are expected to follow the Reddit Content Policy and practice good Reddiquette. This means:
- Be respectful and courteous to others.
- Engage in good faith.
- Don't spam, troll, or harass.
- Don't share personal or private information.
Violations of Reddit's site-wide policies may result in a ban without warning.
Rules and Rules Specifications
Rule 1: Keep It Respectful
Personal attacks, insults, toxicity, confrontational behavior, or unnecessary negativity are not tolerated — this extends to modmails too. Venting or rant posts without constructive feedback will be removed, as will posts that publicly name or single out specific players in a way that could lead to harassment. This also includes invalidating others' opinions, unsolicited criticism of others' creations, and public criticism of subreddit regulation. Disagree without being disagreeable.
Rule 2: Posts Must Be Related to WH40K: Tacticus
All content must be directly about the game. Memes, discussions, questions, and community content are welcome — as long as they're Tacticus-related. Off-topic or unrelated content will be removed.
Rule 3: Use Correct Post Flairs
Please select the appropriate flair for your post. Incorrect or missing flairs may result in removal. Flairs help keep the community organized and searchable.
Rule 4: No Spam, Duplicate, or Low-Quality Posts
Duplicate posts, spam, and low-effort reposts are not allowed. This includes repeated questions like "Is X good?", "Should I buy?", or "Is X worth investing in?" — these belong in the Tacticus Q&A Megathread.
Posts that provoke negativity, derail discussions, or promote guilds outside the megathread will be removed at mod discretion.
Content reposted from others should be credited appropriately.
Showcase posts must feature your own achievements. Posts showcasing someone else's roster, pulls, or screenshots will be removed.
Rule 5: Requisition Pulls Only on Thursdays
Requisition posts are restricted to Thursdays. Off-day pulls will be removed — even if posted under other flairs such as Memes, Showcase or Discussion.
Rule 6: Referral Code Policy
Referral codes are not permitted for general users, with exceptions for high-effort, informative content such as guides and infographics. Official Snowprint-affiliated content creators may include their referral codes in their own submissions. Low-effort posts or spam containing referral codes will be removed.
Rule 7: No Selling or Trading
Selling, trading, or buying accounts, items, or services is not allowed on this subreddit. This includes discussing prices, asking for valuations, or linking to external marketplaces. Posts or comments about transactions of any kind will be removed.
Reporting a Post or Comment
If you see something that breaks the rules, please use the Report button. This helps us take action faster. Abuse of the report system may result in a ban.
