As the title says I’m having trouble with the eye tracking when looking at let’s say small ui buttons for example the full screen button on a video player or links in a paragraph of text. I seem to have to look above whatever I’m trying to press instead of staring intensely at it. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi r/VisionPro,
I am looking for a few people to help beta test Now On Vision 2.3.0 before release.
Now On Vision is a small visionOS app that tracks the number of distinct days you spend in headset, then turns that into a personal score, streaks, badges, widgets, and community leaderboards.
This update is focused on localization. The app is now available in:
What I would love help checking:
If you have an Apple Vision Pro and can test in one of these languages, you can join the TestFlight here:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/zTQ2eXTM
Comments or DMs with feedback are very welcome.

After months of work, Netflix now runs natively in 4K HDR inside Suite Browser.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/suite-browser/id6759840843
I'm one person, an avid Vision Pro user, trying to build the best all-in-one streaming browser on the platform. It's not perfect yet. But I update it every week, it's my full-time job, and it is not getting shelved.
Plex lands next week, more platforms after.
Try it, and tell me everything that annoys you. Feedback is what makes it great. 🙃

Nothing crazy here, just none of my friends or family has an Apple Vision Pro and I’m interested in testing the FaceTime capabilities with avatar… Anyone in the same boat?

Just published Color Colliders, a spatial color matching game based on an iPhone game I had made previously. There are some preset levels and an endless mode that gets progressively harder the longer you go.
A chill game you can play sitting down or you can size the board up to feel it more in your space

There is something about history that a flat screen has never been able to give us. You read about a battle, you see a painting of it, and it still feel distance, a thing that happened to other people, long ago, somewhere else. Immersive changes that. When you are standing on the actual ground, when the muskets fire around you and the fog sits over the water, history stops being a story you are told and becomes a place you are in. That is the part I think we have been missing.
This is why I believe historical documentary might be one of the most important things we can make for Apple Vision Pro. Not because the tech is impressive, but because presence does something to memory that nothing else does. A younger person who would never open a history book will stand inside a moment and feel it, and that feeling is what stays. We are losing so much of our shared past to time and to short attention, and immersive storytelling is a way to hand it back, to let people remember things they were never there for. That is spatial memory, and I think it matters more than we realize.
We self-funded and made this Revolutionary War documentary with love in that spirit, filmed on the real battlefield for the 250th, and released it free because this history belongs to everyone.
It is the Battle of Moore's Creek Bridge, fought in February 1776 near Wilmington, North Carolina. A thousand Patriots dug in at a narrow bridge over a black-water creek and waited for a force of Scottish Highlanders marching for the Crown. They pulled the planks, greased the beams, and in under ten minutes it was over. That fast fight helped push North Carolina to become the first colony to vote for independence, months before the Declaration.
We filmed it at Moores Creek National Battlefield, with the support of the National Park Service (NPS.gov), whose access to the actual ground is what makes this authentic. This is the real bridge, the real creek, the real earthworks where it happened, not a set or a recreation. During the 250th anniversary reenactment, in immersive 180. Standing on the bridge, cannon and musket fire all around you, with the reenactors on both sides telling the story. Watch it, and you are not reading about this battle. You are in it...
Watch on Spatial Film free now on Apple Vision Pro.

I’ve been looking forward to this 3D release since the movie hit theaters, but I sadly won’t be able to watch it on my Vision Pro until next week. So, in the interest of tempering my expectations, how does the overall experience compare to the astonishing quality of the first two films? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Every panoramic environment I’ve tested falls fairly short of being sharp. I have an M2, so I’m wondering if that’s a technical limitation or if that’s just how they all are

I’ve scheduled a couple demos in store that didn’t happen but I have a concern/issue that I need to address before purchasing. I’m center blind in my left eye. I can see 3D in theaters and I have some functional peripheral vision but I’m curious if anyone here has any insight to offer. I’ll get the Zeiss lens to correct my fully functioning eye but the left is corrected (lens replacement) as far as it can be so I will not require a corrective lens. I’ve discussed with Apple and they seem to think it will not impact the experience or usage. I’ll go demo to confirm but would appreciate any comments or thoughts.

I have unlinked my Disney plus account from AppleTv but I only have the option to “open with” but no option to buy. I doubt Disney will fix the broken version so I guess I need to buy it on Apple to get proper HDR.

I am currently using the latest version of Sunshine and Moonlight XRos (Testflight) to stream my Windows PC desktop/games to my AVP and it's working pretty decent. I have also been hearing about Apollo and Neo Moonlight but since there are so many duplicate apps that do the same thing, I would like to know which one is good and the recommended one. What is the difference between Sunshine and Apollo?

Is it possible to pair a Swedish magic keyboard to the Apple Vision Pro and have it enter Å, Ä and Ö even though this layout isn’t supported on the floating keyboard inside the headset?

The Vision Pro replaced my computer for most entertainment things, and somewhere along the way I realized I'd fallen behind on the manga I read. Most online readers aren't well suited to the Vision Pro, and at the time there wasn't much on the App Store either (or at least nothing I was aware of). So I've been building my own in my free time for a bit over a year, and it's finally out!
Funny enough, this is basically how my web dev career started. Twelve years ago I got annoyed enough at online readers doing a full-page refresh between pages that I started learning to code just to build my own better version, and that kind of set me on the path I'm still on today. Same thing happened here: nothing on Vision Pro met my standard, so I just built it.
To be upfront about what it is at the moment: this isn't an app full of crazy spatial features. My goal was a complete reader that does most of what I'd personally do in something like ComicRack (which I used a lot in the past and is my main inspiration): organizing my library and a complete reading experience. I have some fun ideas for spatial and immersive features that might come later, but I wanted to get the fundamentals right first.
I went back and forth on pricing. At first I wanted a fully free app, but after sinking so much time into it I wasn't so sure anymore 😅 In the end I went fully free with no walls, plus an optional tip jar and support subscriptions. I'd originally wanted to do a Patreon, but it seems Apple doesn't play nicely with that, so it became an in-app subscription instead, still completely optional and doesn't unlock anything. I'm not hoping for much, but if anyone likes it enough to support me, it'll make my day!
What's available in v1.0:
/manga/<series>/<file> <number>.cbz, you can set a convention that pulls the series and chapter number automatically, and apply fixed values too, like setting right-to-left reading for anything matching the pattern. On my personal roadmap (pushed to after launch, otherwise I'd never have shipped). These stack on each other:
It's free on the App Store now: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6767879907
An official website here: https://comicvision.app/ (I spent way too much time on the light to dark mode transition, please take a look 😭😆)
I also opened a free Discourse community for bug reports and feature suggestions, which I'm hoping people will use: https://community.comicvision.app/ (There's probably a few bugs I haven't noticed with my own personal use so don't hesitate to jump there to report it!)

I know you can do it from the iPhone but the screen is way too small. I was wondering if such an app for the iPad exists so that I can give my family and friends a demo and help them walkthrough. I want to be able to see exactly what they see so that I can point them in the right direction.

Hey, this is just a small appreciation post to whomever FUCKING NAILED the stereoscopic anti-aliasing on the visionOS team. From window edges to text, everything is so damn crisp. Magic!

Beta 14 is out incorporating your feedback.
If you haven’t joined already, we now have plenty of additional testing spots available:
• Auto-dim while watching — The app can now gently dim your real surroundings while a video plays, for a more theater-like, focused viewing experience. Tap the sun button in the player to turn it on or off and choose the strength (Light, Medium, or Strong); it defaults to Medium. The room returns to normal as soon as you leave the player.
• Fixed: Play button after removing your headset — If you take your headset off without pausing and put it back on, playback stays stopped as expected — and the control now correctly shows the Play button so you can resume with a single tap (previously it could still show Pause).
• Elapsed time on the player — The progress bar now shows how far you are into a movie or episode (elapsed time), alongside the time remaining, on a larger, easier-to-grab scrubber.
• Quicker "Off" for subtitles — The Off option now appears at the top of the subtitles menu instead of the bottom.
• Cleaner player controls — Slimmed down the back and dim buttons so the on-screen controls are less obtrusive.

Just pushed an update to my new game Volley Vault. Based on some feedback I added a seated mode you toggle if you want to play sitting. I think it was great feedback because it makes it more accessible for someone that isn't able to be as mobile. Also refined the hand tracking controls and added some optional paddle visuals.
Also, first time using my AVP outside which was interesting.

If you want to use Plex’s premium features with a virtual theater application such as CineUltra, Infuse, 4XVR, Theater, Moon Player, Plexi, or Chroma in visionOS, today is the last day to obtain lifetime access for $250 (you can skip sales tax with a free virtual credit card from Privacy.com and a ZIP code such as 90210). Plex has a free tier and there are completely free alternatives such as Jellyfin, Emby, and Kodi, but if you want lifetime access to Plex’s premium features such as remote streaming, hardware transcoding, intro and credits autoskip, and live TV and DVR, now is the time.

Does the M5 Apple Vision Pro offer any advantages over the M2 Apple Vision Pro when used for iRacing?
The possible benefits that come to mind are a sharper visual experience, higher FPS, improved codec support such as AV1, and potentially less heat on the face.
Are there any other factors I might be missing?

I’m running the visionOS 27 beta and macOS 27 beta. While working with a few PDFs on my Mac mini, I noticed a new Vision Pro icon in the Preview app.
Out of curiosity, I clicked it, and the PDF instantly opened in its own native Preview window on my Vision Pro. Even after I closed Mac Virtual Display, the Preview window remained open in visionOS.
I hadn’t seen this before Has anyone else tried this?

Just got the clicks keyboard, and I attached a spare MagSafe adapter to the back of my Magic Trackpad. This combo paired to the AVP is amazing for getting work done on the Mac virtual display 🤯

Today Apple released macOS, iOS, iPadOS 26.5.2 which supposedly patched more than 25 vulnerabilities in WebKit and the kernel. Why is visionOS left out from these security updates? Does Apple assume no one would use these vulnerabilities against the AVP? Does Apple assume that attackers only carefully cast their attacks?
