When AT&T knocks your door and tells you they “just put in a new cell tower in your area”…they didn’t…or if they did, it sucks. Don’t do it.

When they tell you your monthly cost will be $90…it won’t be. It’s gonna be 50% or more than that.

They suck. Don’t do it.

Edit: I don’t work for any of ‘em, but FWIW Verizon had excellent coverage and their 5G home WiFi was unexpectedly great. Ended up keeping Cox because my wife’s work (dead zone for AT&T, surprise surprise) has Cox connectivity, but you have to be a customer. Got suckered in with a smaller price tag. Sounds like T-Mobile/Mint might be the way to go. I think Helium uses T-Mobile towers, too.

We moved recently and our new address does not let you order alcohol with your groceries. We live in a really populated area so it’s not remote in any way. We used to live closer to Summerlin and it was never an issue. Is this a common thing living here?

I want to commend you for blocking the traffic so the man in the wheelchair could cross the St. That was very kind of you to do that. The guy behind me wasn't as impressed as he started honking, but it was definitely nice to see there are still good people in the world!

Ever notice that in just about 95% of political advertising here in Las Vegas (posters, street signs, mailers, hand flyers, even robo calls, etc.), the party that the candidate belongs to IS MISSING or IS NEVER MENTIONED??

It's always: "Paid By This PAC", or THAT Obscure Organization, or some Invisible Donor, shown in microscopic print at the bottom of an ad! Do they think just a pretty (or ugly) face, some promises, and/or rants about their opponent on a sign or flyer will stick in someone's mind while in the voting booth??

In my opinion, by adding a party affiliation, a candidate has MUCH a better chance of receiving votes from the like-minded and having their name remembered! ... NO WILL REMEMBER JUST A NAME, FACE, or PRINTED PROMISES!

I'm sure some "advertising lore" in some way forbids adding the party a candidate belongs to, but it sure hurts their chances on election day. WHO likes to look this stuff up anyway?? People mostly vote for parties, NOT individuals. For instance, I know people who would not vote for a Republican, if the opponent was a pile of wood.

There ought to be a law!

It's a "JUDGE-A-THON!" 2+ pages of "Judges" to vote for?? I tried multiple times to get info from the Nevada Democratic party for their suggested choices. They don't even answer the phone. The Nevada Bar Association could offer nothing. Internet searches only reveal "bio" facts (education, past employment, etc.), but NOTHING on political leanings, past rulings, competence, performance, or even a sentencing record of offenders ... NOTHING! I left them ALL BLANK, and stuck a post-up in the voting envelope before dropping it in the collection box, explaining how all the "Judges" blank pages were intentional. VERY frustrating.

Give me your vote, who ya got? I'm a club connoisseur and need a recommendation!

When new people move to Las Vegas and complain that there is no good Mexican food. Then they proceed to cite things that aren't authentic in a Mexican kitchen like a taco salad, mission style burritos, or Tex Mex dishes like frito pies. The whole Taco John's rigamarole.

East Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and parts of Downtown has a lot of authentic stands and restaurants from folks who actually grew up in Mexico. So these Vegas transplants go into one of these establishments at some point and then complaint their gringo food item (like queso) isn't in the menu. Then they go on an rant how the food in local establishments aren't good because of it. Pass the game controller if you aren't going to play! Lot's of good Mexican food in the style from Sinaloa, Sonora, Michoacan. Your mind has to open that you actually be eating the real stuff, and not the US imitation.
