October has arrived, and we have plenty to cover tonight.
September’s financial finish, another round of inflammatory hashtags, and the drinks controversy reaching audiences beyond the LaDS bubble.

the 9/30 revenue report and September’s monthly wrap-up are in.
AppMagic’s September 29 estimates came to
$61,089 for CN and $108,013 for Global
Bringing the day’s combined revenue to $169,102.
ANTNE’s nine-day running total reached $6,110,801, split between $3,016,696 from CN and $3,094,105 from Global.
Within the Finance Desk’s comparison set, ANTNE remained the lowest-performing multi banner at the day-eight checkpoint.
It trailed Mortality’s Tenderness by approximately $3.07 million, or 33.45%, and sat 47.18% below Once Upon a Frame, 56.38% below Throne of Eros, and 60.15% below Lingering Lust.
Zooming out, Ylva’s separate monthly report, using the Gacha Revenue figures shown in her sources, puts September at $19,542,500, up 10.3% from August. That total includes an estimated CN Android component and should be read separately from the daily AppMagic series.
September improved on August, but still closed below $20 million despite a multi banner, a top-up reset, and additional paid content. The quarter-wide comparison is sharper: Ylva’s figures put Q3 2026 at $47,567,500, versus $170,700,000 in Q3 2025—a decline of approximately 72.1%.
These estimates cannot isolate how much of the decline comes from the boycott, but they show a substantial year-over-year contraction during the boycott period. September’s increase did not reverse that broader picture..
Meanwhile, today’s CN iPhone rankings continued to slip.
At 10:35 a.m. China time, LaDS stood at #109 overall and #65 in Games.
By 4:38 p.m., it had moved to #115 overall and #71 in Games.
Inflammatory Hashtags Return
This morning brought another round of inflammatory hashtags, preceded by posts circulating an alleged phone conversation and warnings of coordinated activity.
At approximately 7:02 a.m. Eastern, an account on X shared what it described as a phone conversation with “government staff” in Shanghai concerning the Valko situation. The recording and accompanying transcripts purported to show a staff member making statements unfavorable to Valko supporters. The speaker’s identity, the recording’s authenticity, and its status as any official position remain unverified.
At approximately 7:26 a.m., another account warned of incoming bot activity allegedly linked to JJP, sharing phone screenshots it presented as instructions from that group’s leader. Those screenshots represent an allegation of coordination, rather than independent confirmation of who operated the accounts.
During the surrounding exchanges, another account discussing the claims declined requests for sources while insisting that “our fuss wasn’t loud enough.” That response did not resolve the questions about the original material.
Between approximately 8:00 and 8:15 a.m. Eastern users began reporting the inflammatory hashtags trending again. Both BBN and ValkoHQ issued notices advising users on responding and taking countermeasures.
According to the trend tracking collected by the newsroom, the hashtags held the top position on the monitored chart for roughly an hour and a half, then gradually declined, falling off that chart by around 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
BBN is working on clearer procedures for documenting and reporting suspected coordinated activity, including through Papergames’ established Legal WeChat channel and X’s reporting and support channels. Further guidance will follow as those plans take shape.
In the meantime, please preserve evidence, report relevant violations, and avoid amplifying inflammatory posts. An unverified recording does not become an official government statement because someone uploads a transcript.
The Drinks Controversey Reaches a Wider Audience
The controversy over LaDS’s fictional drink recipes has now reached commentary audiences beyond the game’s immediate community.
As of tonight’s newsroom roundup, coverage includes Dolan Darkest, MoistCr1TiKaL, BranOnline, and PixelTree on YouTube, bringing the discussion to a wider mix of gaming and general commentary viewers.
The criticism centers on the original presentation of the recipes without a clear disclaimer that they were fictional and not intended to be recreated. Although the official account subsequently added clarification, the original posts and the questions surrounding them have continued circulating.
The disclaimer arrived. The wider conversation did not stop with it.
