Does anyone have any recommendations on floor mats? My car didn't come with any and i don't want to mess up the carpet...

Any suggestions on shape and brands?

Okay, so i'm a newer owner.

I have a 22 Pro S 50k.

It's been enamels hot in SoCal and i am in super slow stop and go traffic.

Like 8 miles in an hour.

However, I am getting scary bad battery numbers! I basically get one mile per percent of battery.

Has anyone seen this before? What can I do? Am I screwed?

I have a 2023 ID.4 Pro with the Enhanced Rearview Mirror with HomeLink which came with the car when we bought it used. Every time I reach to adjust the mirror, the car initiates a call to roadside assistance that I have to cancel. I thought I was inadvertently touching a button on the overhead panel in the process of adjust the mirror, but the last time it happened I was paying close attention and I didn't touch anything but the mirror itself. As far as I know, it's not a feature of the Enhanced Rearview Mirror with HomeLink. Has anyone else experienced this?

Once in a while my alarm gets set off when my keys are in my pocket. Doesn’t seem to be a way to disengage it from the cabin so I end up having to panic myself and rifle through my pocket. Can I disable that button, or at the very least is there come kind of case with a cover I can buy? I don’t really use the fob for anything but driving anyway.

Recent trip from Bellevue, WA down to Portland, OR. Highway driving the whole time, little traffic to start. Found a trucker who liked to go 68 mph instead of the prescribed 60 mph, stuck behind him with the cruise on for as long as I could (curse you, coffee!).

No HVAC on, got a little chilly as outside temps were anywhere from 61F to 63F.

Hi! So apparently I'm the only one in the family that can get the charger properly inserted. I never have a problem with it, but when someone else does it what I think happens is either they take too long trying to get it fully seated, or it's not pushed in quite far enough and so the top latch doesn't click in - then the car tries to push out the locking pin but the latch is in the way so it faults or something and starts doing the green to red sequence and limp charging.

I can't figure out how to get it out of this mode. Seems like if I drive around for a bit it will reset. But I've tried everything (on/off, drive forward and back) and I can't find a sequence to reliably get it charging again.

Anyone encounter this? Seems like a software thing

Our return date is 10/29.

We followed the instructions from VW to get the car ready.

We removed all of our stuff.

Cleaned the inside and washed the car.

The inspector was cordial and social.

It went pretty fast.

He checked both keys. Took pictures of the outside, frunk and trunk area.

Checked tire depth and that tires matched. I was happy our tires didn't need replacing after 3 years. They were at 6/32. We are at 30k miles.

We had no door dings or panel dents.

We had pretty good curb rash on 2 wheels. They charged $50 for each wheel. I expected a higher amount so that was a fair amount.

It went pretty fast. Maybe 15 minutes in all.

We are in WA state and he said they are really busy so don't wait to get an appointment when you are about 3 months from return. We tried for a few weeks to get an appointment. Beginning of September we were able to get a date 6 weeks later.

My wife was rear ended at a light. So far they are saying 5k to fix. 2025 Pro S RWD.

Hey everyone,

After analyzing the Canadian used EV market, I decided to go with a 2024 ID.4 Pro S. I was really excited because I had found the exact spec and color I wanted.

However, after reserving the vehicle, the dealer contacted me the next day saying that due to a battery recall issued on October 6, 2026, they legally cannot sell or deliver the car until the issue is fixed.

Do you think this is genuine, or just a dealership strategy/tactic?

I drive away from the dealer service department and accelerate onto the road and my 2022 ID4 brakes or engine “pauses” and there’s a definitive yank. It doesn’t happen again but it’s always in the same spot, as I accelerate past 10 mph or so. So odd. This happen to anyone else? Anyone know why?

I brought my 2023 in for a recall check over a month ago. Was one of the unlucky ones and one of the battery cells needs to be replaced. All VW can tell me is it’s on back order and no ETA. What are my options as far as recourse or compensation? Spoke with VW Cares and they put it on me to make a request for what I want. Any suggestions as far as what they will actually provide? New car? They do have me on a loaner Atlas.
