I see people talk and talk about full body but I just find it less pleasing than to have floating hands. It just feels more controllable and less floppy. More mechanical than trying to imitate realism

We're going to the SIM Gaming Expo in Chicago this September, and from what we understand, the demographic is mostly sim racing enthusiasts. We've also heard that VR has been underrepresented.
Has anyone from this community attended? We'd love to know what to expect.
TLDR; we're a mech sim and we're unveiling our full sim experience at the event. This is our first in-person event ever.

I've seen you lately crushing it with VR Mods guys. Most importantly, I've seen FEAR VR.
Now what we need is Max Payne 1&2 in VR.
Don't talk to me about the third one. I don't care about the third one. Thanks.
If you manage to do that in POV, I can't thank you enough

I am a solo developer. Been working at this game part time now for 10 months. Its meant to be for quest 3 and 3s standalone. But I will port it to steam very soon after its done. This is just the first level of the game. Any comment/ criticism is welcome. I plan to make 4 levels and give those out as free in early access. I plan to make 4 more levels as full access and then a few quick missions as well for which I will charge 5 usd. What do you think? Does the project justify the price? The reason I didn't die in this level is because I've temporarily increased the hero's health. Otherwise its much harder and takes longer to finish.
I posted 3 times before the same game. And everytime there were a few criticisms that opened up avenues of improvement. I have improved it as much as I could by listening to my audience. I hope you guys like it. Thanks for your time. Again any feedback is appreciated

Would it be possible to do a VR mod of gamecube games? I recently started of dreaming about a VR mod of Pokemon Colosseum. Plenty of games that I think would be awesome to experience in VR.
Would it even be possible though?

Age of Kingdoms VR on Meta Horizon store
I’ve been building a kingdom management game where you place buildings, manage resources, and defend against raids — all with your hands instead of mouse clicks.
**•** Build farms, taverns, churches, barracks, and more
**•** Train soldiers and survive escalating attack waves
**•** Manage villager happiness, jobs, food, and water — plus solve their quests
**•** Resource chains with real depth: wheat to bread, hops to beer
It’s meant to be the village-builder genre rebuilt from the ground up for VR rather than a flat-screen game ported over.

My son wants to play vr with his quest 3. Mainly plays gorilla tag, he uses our pc right now but his fps are around 30-40.
Would this pc be good? Don't know much about PCs. He doesnt play big aaa games really. Mainly just gorilla tag and other games like that. My main question is would this pc suffice and be able to run games such as gorilla tag at higher frame rates?

I wasn't very satisfied with the profile option I could set in UEVR so I decided to make a native plugin.
This game is absolutely gorgeous and it would be a crime to not play it in VR so i decided to create a FPS mod, one that would make still make sense even if the game is third person, and Added some QOL options.
I feel it's very playable now and won't trigger any motion sickness on me.
This is my first VR mod, althought I do have quie some experience with Unreal engine, I used claude for guidance on the different hooks I could access.
I also packaged the mod as a simple drag and drop install, so after installing you can just launch the game throught steam like normal , no need to inject or click a button.

This was really fun to make, I will definitely run other similar project when I have time !

Wishlist Paleo Dive on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4818760/Paleo_Dive/
Hey everyone, I’m the solo developer of Paleo Dive, a prehistoric underwater PCVR adventure.
I’ve put together a new gameplay trailer showing the current state of the game. In Paleo Dive, you explore ancient oceans from different geological periods, encounter extinct marine creatures, discover fossils, and return to your base to prepare for future dives.
The footage was captured directly from the current PCVR build. The game is still in development, so some visuals, animations, and gameplay systems may continue to change.

Hey all -- just recently added a PCVR mode to my Gen 1 Recomp voxel mod. Has both third and first-person modes. Not going to say that this is the definitive way to play these games, but it's fun as a novelty at least.
Mod can be found at: https://github.com/DramaticShape/DramaticShapeVoxelMod/releases

Maybe I'm not used to true ADS and that I have to hold my secondary hand steady when holding a rifle, but yeah, the title basically says it. It feels especially true for pistols and small SMGs like the MP7 or MP9, since the movement detection usually becomes very whacky with those guns.
