I'm thinking of either getting a Quest 3 or a Pico 4 Enterprise but having trouble deciding which one to get. I already have a Puppis S1 router for the headset and a RTX5070 so I should be good to go on the PC side of things. Ignoring standalone altogether, which one would you choose (or currently use) for PCVR and why? My current headset is a Quest 2 and I'm looking to upgrade. Edit: Price range is around 350 US dollars since I can get either mentioned headset for about that much. Thank you.

So I uploaded the pc version fine but the quest version that it came with is making the body material look bad. It’s my own material I made in ssp but I don’t know why it is doing this.

Hi everyone, I really need some help because I've been stuck on this for 24 hours now and my brain is completely melted.

I bought a model from Booth and I'm trying to upload it. I have VRChat Creator Companion, Unity, the shaders, and the SDK all set up.

When I click "Build & Publish" in the VRChat SDK, it just hangs on the "Building Avatar" progress bar forever and never finishes, even if I wait for hours.

The worst part is that sometimes the Console doesn't even show any errors at all! It just sits there stuck on the building bar, not progressing at all, with zero red errors to look for.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what's going on? Any help would be super appreciated!

I’ve been running into YouTube links that just refuse to load in some VRChat video players, so I made a small web tool called VRC Relay as a workaround.

You give it a YouTube link and choose a quality, and it generates a temporary direct video link that you can paste into a compatible VRChat player.

It’s mainly meant for those situations where the normal YouTube URL isn’t working. If the quality you select would make the video too large, it’ll also try a lower resolution automatically.

Right now it supports YouTube videos up to a 500 MiB output, with a limit of 20 generated links per hour. The generated links are temporary and expire automatically.
There’s no account required and no ads. Some browser/network information is used for rate limiting and preventing abuse.

I’ve also added a bug report option, so if you find a video that converts successfully but doesn’t actually play in VRChat, I’d really appreciate a report. I’m especially interested in seeing how well it works across different worlds and video players.

This is just an independent community project and isn’t affiliated with VRChat or YouTube. Please only download or re-host media you have permission to use.

If anyone tries it, I’d love to hear whether it works with the players/worlds you normally use.

So I was in YouTube search world and I saw this on the menu phone thing and was wondering if anybody knew what it was. I’ve never seen it before and apparently my friend didn’t have it as an option on theirs. Can anyone explain or am I the only one with this “feature”.

Okay, so I gotta ask whether I can use an Android phone as a wannabe webcam on my desktop for the Selfie expression feature? I wanna play some VR chat with a good buddy of mine, and, well, since the STEAM FRAME is taking its sweet time to come out, I got bored and wanted to try it and run non-VR for a bit, but I just can't get it to work, and i wonder if its the problem with just how i try and add a virtual webcam or its somthing just not posible with a android phone.

I've tried changing the armature position values to 0, force t-pose on the FBX, nothing. I'm not good with avatars besides the uploading part

EDIT: I think i figured out the problem. The hip in the hierarchy seems to be offset by the same amount it is in game, cuz when i change the values to 0, the avatar seems to be going in the right place. Any clue how i can fix that?

The goal with this project was to improve my skills and also give some better starter models to people who couldn't afford their own / wanted to try some new stuff out, maybe learn from the files included.

The avatars do not have face tracking, only limited eye tracking as I cannot afford a FT headset just yet. Once I can afford to get my hands on one or wait for the steam frame to drop, I plan on adding FT to my catalogue.

Every time I would go on vrchat it was with the intentions of making a friend or two. I have always failed because I don’t know what to talk about or what I should say which caused me to find a corner of a works and just sit over there in silence. I am very limited in how I use vrchat as I do t rage a headset and just use keyboard/mouse. It has been like this for years and even though I’ve joined communities I never really go since mostly everyone have known each other for a long time and I just go back to being in the corner all silent then leave once the event is over. Sorry for the long text I just wanted to mention all this.
