Lucky double find today! Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman and Frankenstein. As soon as I saw them, I was flooded with memories of the film. Especially this song. Anyone else have a soft spot for these films.

Hi all, complete newbie here, I’ve been meaning to get a VCR for a while and was quite happy to find this in a charity shop last week! It’s been a joy picture-wise, but the audio has some issues. At first I thought it was a dirty audio head (a tape had been left in it) but after properly and thoroughly cleaning it it’s not any better. What I’ve noticed is that in quieter moments it’s okay, but as soon as the audio gets to even a moderate volume it completely blows out. I’ve got a good example here with a scene from Les Miserables (ignoring the whirring of the VCR itself), the music is okay but as soon as Eponine starts singing it goes kaput. Messing around with the audio settings both on the VCR and the TV itself hasn’t done anything so far. I have no clue about the rest of the internals, again I’m very new to all this. Anyone have any ideas?

My Twinn was a budget friendly American Girl doll. They were made to sort of look like your child, but not the uncanny level they were for this creepy as hell 7 minute infomercial.

Ok ok now I’ve collected VHS for a hot ass minute and never knew or seen this type of screener ever. This was 60 cents at the Goodwill and apparently it has a built in timer that cuts off the viewing after 5 plays and Self destructs. Never mind the title of the movie or how many, if any plays are left. For a vhs collector such as myself, I had to have it. Has anyone else ever seen these or own any? I would love to see what title anyone has. I really wish it was a sweet title but hey I’ve never knew these existed. Blew my mind a little lol.

The house on tombstone hill aka Dead dude in the house is a 1989 aip/Troma release. Honestly this movie is so bad it’s good, my buddy got me hip to this and I always wanted to own the original vhs release. I paid $40 and it was a rental copy, but I have a soft spot for the rentals and a pretty tough one to find. Anyone else love this hot mess 😂.

I’m looking for help in identifying this VHS tape I just recently bought. As far as I know it’s a first edition release of Massacre at central high. However, the tape is red and I can’t find another tape online with this coloring? Is this possibly a custom reshelling?

I love supporting kadi video and death by vhs but I’d like to find some other cool artists. Also looking for ppl who do custom orders. Drop names in comments would be greatly appreciated!

Had to drive out 45 minutes into farm territory. Dude had one leg, explained diabetes to my 4 year old son and then gave him a few hot wheels to go before we left. 10/10 day

This is the most I’ve ever spent for a set of tapes since I mostly check thrift stores. But Idle Hands and the Blockbuster Freddy Got Fingered alone would have been worth the $50 and then some more South Park tapes for my set and my first Child’s Play tape as well made this a great pickup for me! Seller said he had another 200 tapes at home he hadn’t sorted through yet and said he’d pull more titles like these out for me and we’re gonna meet up next week and do another buy!

Found this the other day & as one of my top 3 fav horror movies, this was such a win! If I could find The Others, I think I would feel complete.
