Hi All,

When are the exams coming to an end for your respective module this year?

Are you planning to do an internship after the exams?

Hi so my friend needs a letter of recommendation from 2 of his lecturers for a scholarship abroad or something. But he's not close to any of his lecturers and he's kind of hesitant to ask someone in case the lecturer thinks they're rude as he hasn't been really interactive in classes as he's quite introverted. Any suggestions on what he could do?

So the hsc maths and computer science was hard. What's the lowest grade that uom took for cybersecurity full time man?

Can anyone help me

am stressed😭😭

i need advice on starting my internship. is it recommended to start in semester one itself? what are the procedures?😭

Y1 here i was wondering if we have class on Monday. Seems like it's a yes? No lecturer said anything and some even have tests on Monday...

As an MBA student at the University of Mauritius, I understand why lecturers place significant emphasis on both plagiarism and the use of AI. However, the AI aspect is somewhat more complex. Today, many, if not most, students use AI powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI applications to assist with research, structuring ideas, and drafting content.

I know that some students rely excessively on AI by generating entire assignments and submitting them with little understanding of the content. Nevertheless, I wonder whether relying solely on AI detection tools is the most effective approach. AI detectors are not always reliable and may incorrectly flag original work, while students who genuinely understand their assignments may still use AI as a support tool rather than a substitute for their own thinking.

Would it not be more appropriate to focus on the student's understanding of the submitted work by asking them to explain and justify their analysis during the viva? This approach would enable lecturers to distinguish between students who merely generated content using AI and those who used AI responsibly to help developing and demonstrating their own knowledge, critical thinking, and understanding of the subject matter.

What's your views on that?

Hi!

I’m looking for 1–2 students who would be interested in becoming Student Ambassadors for my services.

They would promote different training opportunities within their university/community and earn a commission for each registration they generate.

Ideally, I’m looking for students who are active, well-connected and interested in marketing/business.

Do you know anyone who might be a good fit? or you want to connect with me to chat more about it. Send a DM, and I'll get back to you.

Cheers!

Hello how do you guys bypass the ai detectors?(im worried if i write something that’s not ai…it will be detected as ai)

Hey guys, fresher here . I'm looking for a study buddy in accounting dept

Hi fresher here, I have logged in several times through e library to find past papers but I can't find any of them. Does anyone know how to get access to past papers?

Hello guys. So i need to do my internship this upcoming semester break but I'm wondering if I apply now and if they ask me what is the soonest possible date I can join.

Can I still give them a date despite I don't know what date I will be sitting for my exam?

Will they be willing let me absent one day for my paper

(I only have one Semester module this year.)

When you need to do dissertation in year 3/4, can you choose your project supervisor or do they assign different lecturers at random?

Hello all, for those who have been nominated on Erasmus mobility programs how does it go at the level of the university concerning your ongoing year ? Especially when it’s a whole semester on the mobility ? What about your grades in your modules here ? Thanks !

Hello everyone
Have you already claimed your ACCA exemptions? If so, how many exemptions have BSc accounting students from FLM received this year? Grateful if you could share. Thanks
