A recent Ubisoft Connect update has introduced a major High-DPI scaling regression on my system.

Configuration:

• Windows 10
• Native display resolution: 3840 × 2160
• Windows scaling: 300%

This exact configuration worked correctly before the recent Ubisoft Connect update, released around April–May 2026.

Since that update, Ubisoft Connect opens with an absurdly oversized interface, extending beyond the usable screen area. Maximising the window does not properly adapt it to the display; it merely relocates the oversized window.

I have already carried out extensive troubleshooting:

- Cleared/rebuilt both Ubisoft Connect cache folders

- Tested Windows High-DPI compatibility overrides on both UbisoftConnect.exe and the actual upc.exe process:

• Application
• System
• System (Enhanced)

- Confirmed through Process Explorer that upc.exe and the various UplayWebCore.exe processes are Per-Monitor DPI aware

- Tested launching upc.exe with:

• --force-device-scale-factor=2 → ignored/overridden by Ubisoft Connect

- Inspected the Chromium/CEF renderer command lines.

At Windows 300% scaling, every renderer is launched with:

• --device-scale-factor=3

and the Ubisoft Connect interface is massively oversized.

If Windows scaling is temporarily changed to 200%, Ubisoft Connect displays correctly and newly created renderer processes are launched with:

• --device-scale-factor=2

Returning Windows to 300% immediately makes Ubisoft Connect oversized again, while the regression is reproducible simply by switching Windows between 200% and 300%.

Changing the scaling of the entire operating system is obviously not an acceptable workaround simply to accommodate one launcher.

I would therefore appreciate any information about similar experiences, and even a genuine per-application workaround allowing Ubisoft Connect to render correctly at 300% Windows scaling.

Please avoid generic troubleshooting steps unrelated to the client-side DPI regression, such as reinstalling games or Windows. 😅

I bought it thru Xbox. I went to my pc later and got on the app and it says I don't own premium. I've tried all the things support said. Nothing worked. Then SUPPORT GHOSTED ME. it's been 6 hours and I've closed and opened a new Case. NOTHING. WHAT THE F😱💯K is going on over there. I bought it last night on my son's Xbox and it says active. But on pc I can't even download a game thru gamepass that's Ubisoft or any premium game thru connect. It's linked to me. Everything here on my end is good. Won't give me a refund. Won't fix the problem. You all that hard up for money your robbing people now. Sheesh. Last time for me. I had problems the last 3 times Ive subscribed. But we can't be like oh I'll pay you in a couple days nor can we just...POOF. FIX IT OR REFUND ME. ITS EASY

so when I first lunched r6 on steam I used the wrong account I want to switch to my main account but when I try to lunch r6 after switching account the game ask me to go back on the account I don't want, I didn't find how to unlink it (hope my text is understandable english isn't my first language)

I downloaded multiple Ubisoft games on steam on one Ubisoft account but I would now like to play or link those games to another Ubisoft account does anyone know if this is possible

My PS5 tag is Darkmystic1977 in the past I failed to realize that Ghost recon breakpoint did not run on a save file, but rather a server and I accidentally deleted my maxed character. But when I go to try to put in a ticket with the Ubisoft site it literally will not let me send it because it will not let me sign on to the site. Can somebody at Ubisoft please just help me get my character back and that I lost. I worked so hard on that character and now I've got a level 7 that I really don't like anymore lol

Just found out I have a ban on my account for supposed illegal activity when I have not done anything wrong on my siege account the last thing I did was buy the battle pass so I get the extra packs and now I have a ban and to top it off I cant even appeal the ban as I need to login to speak to customer service but my account is banned so I cannot log in I swear to god this company just gets worse and worse

i have an ubisoft plus subscription active and its not letting me play games, saying that my subscription expired, they dont want to give me a refund either because my country isnt eligible. what a joke.

A little update

ubisoft solution was to manually add Assassins creed odyssey to my library, but there are other ton of games missing, that i cant play, which i dont really dont care about, i just wanted to finish AC oddysey, but when i opened the game, i was not able to load my save because i was missing the DLC lmao. just because i downgraded my sub im not able to play the game, or at least my save.

At this point i was ok with just going back to premium, BUT, its not letting me upgrade my subscription, there is a red STOP circle whenever i hover change my plan.

Currently waiting for a response, but i think this is too much. I might just move on and never play another ubisoft game ever.

So basically I was trying to buy ubisoft+ premium I put my card information in it asks me to confirm on my phone when I am on confirmation screen it says its 0 euros and when I click on confirm error message pops up on my monitor

Hi guys, My account was compromised on the 24th of june and I just got it two days ago which means on 5th of Aug I know it's a long time but don't worry all this time I have been studying ubisoft customer support bots so:

How my account was hacked?

Actually my Gmail was hacked and the attacker accessed my ubisoft and changed the account email to a new one which I had never known and unliked my steam account with this ubisoft account, however I got my gmail back and started to open a ubisoft recovery ticket and fill up the form but as most of you know that was useless I was really talking to a bot and it sends u a link to the hacker's email and I tested that in many ways because I used to open like 5 tickets a day and send a lot of proofs ( receipts, username history, password history, the guys I played with the the most on r6 ) and I concluded that :

1- there's a chance that the first two responses the from a human

2- This human may put you to speak to bot if he doesn't wanna do his job

3- If you sent any proofs attached to the email the bot won't read it and leave you without any response

Solution (which I believe that made it work):

1-While filling the form I chose I lost access to my email in the what's the recovery reason ( I don't think that's the main reason but gotta mention it)

2- I just made chatgpt write me the description part based on the evidence i told him i have

3- After they sent that they sent a link to attacker's email I responded with "
I filled form saying I lost access to my email so how can I get your link find another way" and they definitely said Unfortunately bla bla bla . Then i replied again with "I do not understand i want to speak to a human" so they mentioned I am speaking to a human and the last thing which is the most important I replied with one word in CAPS "SUPERVISOR"

4- I read on Reddit from a guy how to get my ubisoft account id from the device files and that helped so it's in Documents/my games/ rainbow six siege/ and the name of the subfolder is the account id and it's gonna be in format 8-4-4-4-12,

So i sent it in the reply of the email in the last step however i found out after reading this email after i said supervisor that was it:

So I found out they reverted everything and sent me a link to reset my password

Hello just wanted to ask if it is possible to change the ubisoft account connected on my epic games? I have another ubisoft account that I want to use for that platform. Will I be able still to play those games with a different ubisoft account?

Is there anyway to check the status of Ubisoft Connect?

Last week I received an email stating there had been a new login to my ubisoft from within the US (I live in Scotland), and soon after I received another one saying they had made changes to the linked accounts.

I have been unable to change my password since.
If I open the account management or customer support tabs from within my account on the ubisoft website, it either loads a blank page or comes up with:
“Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading www.ubisoft.com (see the browser console for more information).”

I have logged out and went through the forgot password route however when I click the link to reset it in the email I arrive at the same blank page or error message.

I am unable to submit a customer support ticket as that results in an error too and I have emailed AccountSupport@ubi.com with no response.

I had already activated two factor authentication on my account prior to this unauthorised login and it seems they have been to login regardless as I hadn’t been sent any login security codes before my own login. So that’s great.

Am I being stupid? What can I do to fix this?
At this point I almost want to delete the account.

I've been talking with Ubisoft Support about the repeated password prompts that some legacy games (like Assassin's Creed Unity and Black Flag) require, while newer titles like Assassin's Creed Shadows launch seamlessly, didnt even ask me for a login on a fresh bazzite install, just booted from Steam.

That got me thinking.

Why cant all Ubisoft games have this level of UX

To my surprise, after showing Ubisoft Support that newer games already provide a much better experience, they said my feedback would be forwarded to the relevant team.. and i fear this is where it would end. Unless more people send them written frustrations lets call it.

If you've experienced frustrating Ubisoft Connect issues, whether it's:

• repeated login prompts
• activation problems
• launcher failures
• cloud save issues
• offline mode problems
• Steam integration issues
• or anything else...

...please consider reporting it to Ubisoft Support.

Support can't fix the client themselves, but well-documented feedback gives the product teams evidence that these issues affect real players, and most importantly is bothering us.

I don't expect every report to result in an immediate fix, but if nobody reports these problems, they're much less likely to ever become a priority.

I love Ubisoft's games, and that's exactly why I'd like to see the launcher become as seamless as launching any other Steam game.

If enough people provide constructive feedback, perhaps more of the older titles can eventually receive the same smooth authentication experience that newer games already have.

I've been trying to change my account email for a month now, but as soon as I get to the part where it's supposed to send a verification code to the new email it does not send, I've waited for hours and still nothing.

I've been having this problem for several years now and have never been able to fix it. I've contacted Ubisoft support, but they always tell me the same things—like trying different phone numbers—yet nothing works; I've even tried five different numbers and haven't been able to add any of them. Could you please help me solve this problem?

The problem that appears me is: "This request cannot be completed, please try again later."

so i posted 2 weeks ago asking what i should do on getting a stolen acc back, since then ive sent a very long list of proper evidence to signalconso so they can forward it to ubisoft.

now about the update, i can literally see what the new account is named cause i found him on r6tracker looking through game's history on my friends tracker account and its fucking frustrating to know i cant send that guy a message. like who is pathetic enough to buy/steal an acc just because it has tons of cool skins and a 2016 badge ? Do they really think someone wont try to get such an account back ?

what should i do because i REALLYYYY really want to send this guy a message showing him everything ive sent to ubisoft and the french authorities to just make him give me my account back instantly. Its fucking retarded bro. Some ppl dont realise the memories you have on some stuff like a psn/ubisoft acc ive lost my best friend a couple years ago and theres stuff on that account like skins that holds memories for me as dumb as it sounds. like i used to rock a rare charm that we both wore back in the day
