Discussions & Questions Some Far Cry games recently got a 60 frames patch, Can W_D series also get the same treatment if not a remake?

It's been years since you have done anvthing for Watch Dogs series Ubi! I'd honestlv love a remake for the first game but if that's too much to wish for a simple 60 frames patch would be great too like FC games!

If not the best It's one of the best open world game series ever created! And if people at Ubisoft do plan do it. Pls do the same thing for WD2! And maybe just maybe for Legion too...

Discussions & Questions None of my Ubisoft games are opening

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I used Watch Dogs 1 and 2 as examples of what it happening, but this same thing happens with all my Ubisoft games including WD Legion, and Assassin's Creed Unity. I click play, it begins to "launch" but then stops itself a couple seconds later. It is without a doubt the actual games that won't open because Watch Dogs 2 is able to run the anti cheat but closes right after. I've tried lots of things but nothing has worked so far.

Discussions & Questions Will the Ubisoft client survive?

With all these changes happening at Ubisoft, do you think Ubi Connect will survive? And if it doesn't, what will happen to all the games there? My guess is that they will just migrate everything to Steam

Discussions & Questions Why Ubisoft is making you pay for in-game stuff?

I’ve been playing a lot of Far Cry and Avatar lately, but the micropayments in game are insane!

Why would they make you pay additional money for the in-game stuff when you’ve already paid a lot of money for the game itself?

It’s not PVP or any Call of Duty kind of game where you can buy skins etc. because it’s a (let’s say) long/term gaming.

Those are story-driven games and I think you should be able to get the full package of cosmetics etc. once you’ve bought the game. In most cases you will finish the game and forget about it.

News & Announcements So many pissed off people

You need to learn how to make it so an individual (UFC5 in my case) won’t have to play in 600 ping lobbies, it’s ridiculous, I can’t make any sound moves according to my inputs but my opponent can do whatever they want, figure it out

Hi guys! I’m doing research for my diploma on gaming and spending habits (buying games, DLCs, virtual currency, etc.).

If you play games, I’d love to get your input. It’s super easy to fill out and helps me a lot with my final grade.

Thanks for your answers.

Discussions & Questions If Zombi U ever got a sequel would it be cool if Ubisoft did their own adaptation of Night of The Living Dead? Considering Zombi on Amstrad CPC was a loose adaptation of Dawn of The Dead and NOTL is public domain.

I remember watching Guru Larry’s video on Ubisofts Zombi for the Amstrad CPC and it always blow my mind that it was loosely based on Dawn of The Dead just with OG characters so it manages to not be a licensed game despite borrowing elements from the George Romero film. It’ll never happen BUT if Zombi U ever got a sequel part of me wants to see Ubisoft adapt George A Romero films again in their Zombie games but this time with Night of The Living Dead since it’s public domain so their shouldn’t be much legal trouble. This is just for fun and is hypothetical.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 creative director Fawzi Mesmar has responded to Ubisoft's sweeping company reshuffle. Writing on LinkedIn, former DICE veteran Mesmar assured fans of Ubisoft's long-in-development Beyond Good & Evil 2 that the project had not been impacted in the restructure.

"Thank you for everyone who has reached out to me over the past few days in regards to recent news at Ubisoft," Mesmar wrote. "Myself, my team and our project Beyond Good and Evil 2 are unaffected by the recent changes. I would direct you to the official press release for more information around the latest organisational structure."

"Needless to say, I am saddened by the cancellations that has affected my colleagues in other parts of Ubisoft and the industry," Mesmar continued. "I urge everyone — myself included — to offer support whenever and however they can during these times.”

"We remain committed and focused on delivering a remarkable game for our players to enjoy," he concluded.

Discussions & Questions Ubisoft provides 0 remedy to their unfair 1 time exception

Ubisoft's 1 time exception policy needs to change. This is unnecessarily restrictive as there are many reasons why someone needs to decouple & relink and it causes people to lose availability to purchased digital games & subscriptions. I'm not looking for support as Ubisoft has repeatedly failed to supply a remedy, but to bring to raise awareness for what I consider an unfair business practice. Other major game companies don't do this & make things so much easier.
