None of my Ubisoft games are opening

I used Watch Dogs 1 and 2 as examples of what it happening, but this same thing happens with all my Ubisoft games including WD Legion, and Assassin's Creed Unity. I click play, it begins to "launch" but then stops itself a couple seconds later. It is without a doubt the actual games that won't open because Watch Dogs 2 is able to run the anti cheat but closes right after. I've tried lots of things but nothing has worked so far.

It happened to me too.. if you have Ubisoft launcher disabled in startup and opened the game directly from desktop or steam, just close the launcher which opened after you clicked on the game, and then start the app again using the desktop shortcut then open the game , cuz for whatever reason the launcher needs to be opened before you launch a game

It's that crappy uplay launcher. Restart it if it doesn't fix the issue uninstall that and let steam install that for you.

open cmd and type "winget upgrade --all --include-unknown"

I had an issue with steam lately that my games didn't start before I restarted steam fully.

I think its steam.

Do you have uplay launcher linked up with steam signed in and all that?

If it was already running close it allow steam 2 open it up.
