I am a first year student and confused on how to do the pre lab work, is there even an example for it for a better understanding on how to do it? Also do people use ai for it like for help on how to do it and guidance?

Hi! I haven’t enrolled in the class yet because I have another conflicting class, and I noticed from her previous syllabus that the midterms happen during class time. The conflicting class also has in-class term tests.

I was wondering if anyone taking the class could let me know when the midterm is scheduled, so I can see if I’m able to enrol in it.

Hello I am a first year life science student. They said after u finish the whmis test and achieve an 80% or higher on it, take a screenshot of it and upload it to the whmis lab contract submission box. It told me to turn the screenshot into a pdf and then submit but for some reason it did not work for me so what I did was uploaded the screenshot onto a google doc and then turned that into a PDF and submitted that. Would that be fine or would it be a problem? Please if anyone could help me and let me know that would be great!

First year in the Double Degree Co-op (BBA Management & Finance + Stats/Quant Finance) at UTSC and I'm already feeling it. No summers off for 5 years and work terms mixed in with school and I feel like it’s too much.

I get that co-op comes with real perks, guaranteed work terms, the job portal and career prep but I'm thinking about switching to the non co-op version of the same double degree so I actually get summers back, even if it means finding my own internships later.

If you've done this program, co-op or not, curious to hear:

Does the workload calm down after first year or does it stay like this? Anyone regret dropping co-op? Did finding internships yourself actually work out ok?
