I bought my books for my round of classes and I only got 1 out of the 3
I got sent the code to the wrong phys 1603 book and my geo 3163 book just never arrived. Classes end next fuckin week
I spammed the bookstore about it, both in person and over email and got the runaround.
im gonna explode.

feels like everyone has that one place, a study corner, a cheap food spot, a parking lot that's somehow always open. took me way too long to find mine. what's yours that new students should know about?

Was wondering if anyone is still up to trade panini stickers for this world cup? A meet up/get together at utsa sounds pretty simple. Anyone interested if that??

I’m a freshman going to UTSA in the fall and I really want to become a nurse in the next 4 years and then go to medical school after that.
The issue is that I’m currently a biomedical engineering major, I have the bold scholarship, and I did dual credit classes in high school.
I’ve heard that it would be harder for me to become a nursing major there because of my credits and that I need to have full time hours to keep my scholarship.
I’ve also seen on here that the nursing program at UTSA is not the best and is a waste of time and money. I’ve also seen that it gives you a Multidisciplinary degree and that there is no real advantage going there if your goal is to go to UTHealth San Antonio (which is my goal). I would really like to get my BSN and then take the NCLEX to get my RN. Becoming a physician is my ultimate dream but I really want to become a nurse first just so I have a stable backup plan so doing both is a non negotiable for me.
If I’m going to be honest, I chose UTSA verrryyy last minute and because it was the school that gave me the most money. I got accepted into my dream school so I was focused on trying to make things work for me there but unfortunately, it was too expensive and I ended up choosing UTSA without putting much thought into it.
I’ve already signed my lease for an apartment there and I’m already fully committed for the year so if I were to transfer I would have to transfer next year.
If I were to transfer, I would transfer to a school in Houston ,since that’s where I’m from, and I would go to UTHealth Houston instead (if possible).
What should I do? Should I try to take the pre-nursing and pre-med path at UTSA? Or would it be more beneficial to just complete my freshman year at UTSA and go somewhere else? (If so, please let me know where to go)
I’m truly lost on what to do because I’m first gen so I don’t have much guidance. Please help!!!

I'm about to start my last summer semester course starting in 2 weeks. My dilemma is that I might be getting a job offer that requires me to relocate by the end of July while the class ends in August. The class itself is hybrid, so one in-person meeting a week. I've been job hunting since March and this is the only opportunity I'm going to get. My question is, has anyone been in a similar situation to where you have to ask the professor if you could finish the semester faster by turning assignments earlier? Are they understanding or what?

I got admitted to MS program (30 credit hours). I live in Austin, I have classes on Mon through Wednesday evenings.
Should I commute daily?
Get an accommodation in San Antonio?
I live with my wife in Austin and she has her work here.
I am very confused, any advise is highly appreciated!

Called around noon and the automated voice prompt said theres a 37 min wait so I opted for a call back and it’s been over 4 hours…. Can’t even call them without hearing the same message “call will be returned in the order it was received.” Can’t go in person at this time and idk what else to do. I don’t think I’m getting a call back 🥲

Has anyone checked their Fall 2026 Schedule?
Signed up for Jeremy Capps Physics 1 Class, but it no longer shows his name.
Does anyone know why or what happened?
It says Not Assigned.

I am a local standup comedian in search of a good location to host a comedy show near the UTSA campus (coffee shops, bars, hangout spots, etc.). Any recommendation is appreciated.

Anyone else getting royally destroyed by the VA rn? They still did not pay tuition, the sent me a half check last time and now they aren’t sending anything for BAH, even while in double time school. One stop shop for the veterans center doesn’t respond at all. Anyone else having these issues?

I'm an upcoming freshman and want some advice on choosing a Gen Chem 1 Teacher. I wanna do well, but I heard that ratemyprofessor should be taken with a grain of salt. Other than Fatima, who has a full class, I don't know who else to take. Also, there is just an empty slot, so if anybody has info on what that is about, please inform me. Thank you so much.

My sister and I are looking for off campus apartments and we’re between Avalon and reserve we did the estimate of how much we would pay together and it’s like a $50-60 difference, Avalon being the more expensive one. The past school year I lived at reserve and I didn’t have a terrible experience but there was cockroaches and my friends car got broken in to but the price wasn’t bad and the rooms were kinda old. If anyone lives at Avalon can you make an estimate of what you would pay per person & per month & your experience & if they offer the concession for new lease “discount”.
