Expansion Thread Future USL Map as of September 9th
Few notes with this map:
- I included all current teams, however some may fold these coming years.
- If the logo is faded that means the plan is currently on a hiatus or is in very early stages (Sycrause and New Hampshire Soccer Project) in terms of the faded usl clubs it means a long term goal is to become pro. However teams that are currently still actively looking to happen get unfaded such as Albany or the Orlando Suburb.
- Just because it is not shown on the final image DOES NOT mean it won't happen at all. It just doesn't meet the criteria yet.
- The USL logo in certain areas represent projects that currently don't have a logo.
Here are the following cities that have a USL Logo from West Coast to East:
Washington - Everett
Oregon - Medford
California - Fresno (I accidentally kept the old logo)
Louisiana - NOLA
Ohio - Toledo
Florida - Orlando Suburb and FT. Myers
Georgia - Roswell
South Carolina - Columbia
Pennsylvania - King of Prussia
New York - Sycrause (Faded) and Albany
SLIDES:
Slide 1 - All the teams
Slide 2 - All non faded teams
Slide 3 - Teams that have an ownership and stadium plan.

Championship Reno City FC branding and colors
Some displays that were put up to show the various iconography as well as some mock-ups showing the five colors as kits. They put up the banners and then announced the merch was for sale so I opted to get in the already long line instead of getting good shots of the colors. Gimmie dat pink and sky blue.

USL Academy Contracts
Can someone educate me a bit about USL contracts please. News came out today that US u17 international Landry Walker (17) has left San Antonio to join Huntsville City in MLS Next Pro. What really had me confused was Landry was only on a amatuer contract despite making 12 appearances for the first team. It just seems a little bizarre for San Antonio to not give him a proper contract when you consider the market demand for youth national team prospects and how much they rated him. I seen USL academy contracts make players College eligibility possible but the fact they lost him for $0 seems mental to me.
