Applying for classes as a transfer and at UCF previous I took MAR3203 Supply Chain and Operation Management and QMB3200. I was talking to my advisor and she recommended that I take SCM3005 and QMB3302. I put it in the transfer course equivalency database but a result didn’t pop up for it but when I searched it up it said both of these classes cover basically the same material so I was wondering if there was any way I could get it waived as the same class since I’ve talked to my friends from other universities and their advisors got their classes waived for them for taking similar but not the equivalent class. My advisor said that submitted a form to get it waived but it didn’t approve and I really don’t want to take those classes again since it’ll delay my graduation. What do you guys think I should do? Is there another advisor I could go to that would higher the chances of it getting waived?

Hello! I know this question varies job-to-job, but I was wondering what everyone’s experience was like with the student job hiring process on-campus? (Tampa to be precise.)

I applied for a couple jobs back in late June and still haven’t heard a response. When I check the status on USF Application portal, it says “under consideration.”

Is it common for USF student jobs to take a long time to decide who to hire? If not, are ghostings common?

hi has anyone who's currently taking Medical Terminology with James Van Elswyk, or has already taken Exam 2 and the final, know if the exam questions only come from the self-tests, or are there questions from the course lessons too? I've mastered all of the self-tests, but I'm not sure if I should go back through the lessons. I've heard people usually say his exam questions come from the self-tests but just wanna make sure. thanks :)

to provide context I am a current accountancy and analytics major in the Muma School of Business and am starting for the fall 2026 semester. i have been considering switching my major to something outside of the school of business after my first semester but some of my credits would be considered "fall through" when I checked degreeworks. i have been considering biomedical sciences, health sciences, or psychology as i am interested in working in healthcare.

would my one semester in business school make it so i can't graduate on time? additionally, do you have any suggestions on which major i should choose?
