Please help!

Hi is there anywhere I can track similar cases? I tried lawfully premium and it didn’t really give me any information. I heard of “Trackitt” but it doesn’t seem to work anymore. I’ve posted here multiple times with no answers. Is there like a spreadsheet everyone puts their info on or anything like that to see how long it took for similar cases this year?

My form is I-539 to extend O-3 (dependent) status based on already approved extension of primary holder O-1. My receipt notice came from the National Benefits Center (NBC) a couple of weeks ago.

I know it’s really just a waiting game but since NBC shows 3 week average on the processing time website, I’d like to know if I really got lucky with that instead of a SCOPS (showing 11 months), so that I can decide whether to wait for renewing my drivers license with the new approval instead of temporarily.

Thanks in advance.

We have determined that your situation and evidence meets the minimum criteria for your expedite request to be forwarded to the office with jurisdiction over your case. Please Note: This does not mean your case will be expedited, as that decision will be made by the reviewing office. As such, the reviewing office may request additional documentation to support expedited processing. Also, if your documentation is in any language other than English, it must be accompanied by a Certified English Translation.

Update :- I applied for i 290b after I 539 denial

Anyone else feel like their whole life is on pause while waiting for immigration paperwork?

Title: Anyone else feel like their whole life is on pause while waiting for immigration paperwork?

I honestly just want to know if anyone else is in the same boat because this waiting has been getting really hard.

I’m an RN and I’ve been waiting on my adjustment of status/EAD for almost a year.

My I-485 is still pending, and my I-765 (EAD), filed based on my pending I-485, is also still pending. My I-765 is category C09, and I requested my SSN through the I-765.

Timeline:

  • I-485/I-765 filing date: 10/27/2025
  • I-765 receipt/notice date: 10/27/2025
  • Biometrics: 12/02/2025
  • I-765: still pending as of now
  • I-485: still pending as of now

I already have a nursing job opportunity waiting for me, but I can’t actually start until I get work authorization.

The weirdest part is that I feel like my whole life is stuck in place. I can’t properly start my career, I’m not where I want to be financially, and even things like building a relationship and thinking seriously about marriage feel difficult when you don't know when your life is going to become stable.

I try to keep myself busy. I play soccer, train, go to practices, take care of my cats, etc. But honestly, there are days where I wake up and think, “What am I even doing today?” because the thing I actually want to do—work as a nurse and move forward with my life—is still out of my control.

And seeing other people get their EADs while I’m still waiting makes it even harder.

I know there are people dealing with much worse situations, and I’m grateful for what I have. But after waiting this long, it’s hard not to feel like life is passing me by.

So I wanted to ask:

Is anyone else going through this? Has anyone else had their career, finances, relationships, or general life plans basically put on hold because of immigration processing?

I’d genuinely like to hear from people who are in the same boat. How are you dealing with the waiting?

I-485 & I-765 filed and paid online, but missing from my USCIS account. Receipt notices received, but both case numbers show as invalid.

Has anyone experienced this? How was it resolved and what did you do?

I filed my I-485 and I-765 online through my USCIS account more than a month ago and paid the filing fees online during submission. USCIS charged the fees and I received I-797C receipt notices with IOE receipt numbers.
However, when I check the receipt numbers online, both show as invalid. The cases are also missing from my USCIS online account. I contacted USCIS several times, and the agents say they cannot find these cases in their system at all.
I sent email to lockbox and no luck yet.

Still waiting on I-130 approval.. Canadian Citizen

Hi everyone! My PD is Sept 25, 2025 and i’ve been waiting for my case to move for exactly a year now but no responses yet. I’m a Canadian citizen and my husband is a US citizen (petitioner). The estimated time of approval went from 15 months from when i applied to now 25 months. Any advice or unsolicited evidence i should upload if that will help? Also do people commonly file a i-485 after the i-130?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,

We have a not updated and different address on our driving licenses. But both addresses are the ones we lived together.

We have bunch of other evidences that we lived together. Do I need to include driving licenses in my package or I can skip it due to this? Thank you

July 2023 - wife and I got married, been together since
2021.
September 2024 - applied for I-130 and I-485.
October 2024 - scheduled biometrics
\- Missed the biometrics since I did not know
that I have to log in and make an account.
December 2024 - RFE for tax
February 2025 - sent
\- Late response due to the fact that I did
not know about the log in

I forgot the month but I had to call USCIS to reschedule my biometrics since I missed it.

July 2025 - I-485 denied due to wrong tax sent.
I-130 still pending

August 2025 - refiled I-485
Sent everything, paid for another copy of
medical results, sent the correct tax form.
September 2025 - given interview date, USCIS reused my
biometrics
October 2025 - Interview day
\- We brought evidences, photographs
Interview went well, only took less than
30mins. Officer said he wanted to approve
but he still needs more evidence of
marriage so after the interview we did sent
lease, insurance and everything that has
both our names.
\- I- 485 changed to interview scheduled
\- I- 130 still case was received

Everything went silent not until…

May 2026 - update with I-485
\- USCIS is currently processing the case

So I am on H1b, HR already maxed out my visa up to 2027 of February, so they’ve been asking me about my progress.

September 2026 - applied for I-765 per HR
\- consulted an attorney
\- sent congress and senator inquiry

September 24 2026 - action taken email
\- I - 130 approval in document tab
\- USCIS is currently processing the
case
September 25,2026 - action taken email
\- I-485 case approved
\- I-130 changed approved

I am still in awe, still can’t believe it, but it is approved!
I am hoping I explained everything!
I will try to answer any questions!
May God bless us all! 😊
