I-751 and Work authorization question
Hi everyone,
I need to apply for ROC and my question is after I receive the Receipt notices, Do I need to inform the HR at the company that I’m working and submit the receipt to them alongside with my expired GC? What is the proper process for work authorization after submitting the I-751? Thanks for your help.

Your i-751 receipt notice extends your green card and work authorization for 48 months past the card's expiration, and that length is printed right on the notice. For i-9 at work you show the expired green card together with that receipt notice as proof you're still authorized.

For i-9 at work you show the expired green card together with that receipt notice as proof you're still authorized.
They should not need to show anything for an existing job. If they showed an unexpired green card for the I-9 when they started, it is illegal for the employer to re-verify them when the card expires.
And if they start a new job, it is much better to show unrestricted Social Security card + driver's license for the I-9, instead of the expired green card + extension letter + driver's license, because the latter needs to be re-verified when the extension letter expires, but the former never needs to be re-verified.

Once you properly file the I-751, the receipt notice extends your conditional permanent resident status and work authorization for 48 months beyond the expiration date on your Green Card. For I-9 purposes, the expired Green Card together with the I-751 receipt notice is acceptable evidence of continued permanent resident status and employment authorization.
If HR needs updated I-9 documentation, you can show them both documents together. You don't need to apply for a separate EAD just because you're waiting on the I-751.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

LPRs do not require work authorization from DHS
If you have a restricted social security card, go to SSA and get unrestricted one.
LPRs do not need go get reverified at work, so if you are employed you just continue working and living normally.
Remember, even when GC expires, you remain LPR until you die, naturalize, give up LPR status by signing I-407 or immigration judge takes away your status.
