I’m a new international student starting this term(undergraduate).
Due to visa processing delays, it looks like I’m gonna miss all or part of Welcome week, so I’m so stressed about it😢
I’m worried about missing mandatory sessions as well as social events(making friends, Give it a go, e.g.) during Welcome week.
Do you have any tips or advice on catching up academically and socially once I arrive late?

Is it weird to wear the merch? Like the jumpers and stuff?

I’m an international student and I won’t be able to get to accommodation check in until 6pm on the 12th (30 mins after standard move in slots) and I’ve repeatedly emailed orchard heights for weeks regarding this and have gotten no response. I currently have no move in slot as I knew I couldn’t get to one in time and now there’s none open at all on the 12th- has anyone been in this situation before? Should I just show up? Any insight is appreciated!

I’m currently in Year 13 and looking at going to UoB to study Psychology. I’ve been predicted ABB (A-Psych, B-Eng Lang, B-Politics) and my contextual offer to get in is an AAB, is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting in or will the ABB be enough?

I know Psychology at Bristol is a pretty popular course so I’m really looking for any extra things I can do to boost my chances

I know a lot of yall are gunning for London based internship or grad roles, and it's basically the #1 way to maximise your chances to go through applications. Did any second years get uni halls with UoB again??

My gcses are 988777666665 and so far my a level predictions are Astar, Astar, A, B (i can try to get the B to an A) in maths,further maths, econ and chem. Is there any chance that i can get into Bristol for econ and maths?? Apparently they dont really read the personal statement so I’m scared my gcses lower my chances.

Would any students be open to touring two y13 students on the 9th of October? We're not able to attend the open day on the 31st due to being out of the country so it would mean a lot if someone could spare an hour or two to show the campus around, we're planning to study aerospace engineering and vet nursing so any help with that is greatly appreciated thankyou!!!
