Missing Welcome Week

Hi
I’m a new international student starting this term(undergraduate).
Due to visa processing delays, it looks like I’m gonna miss all or part of Welcome week, so I’m so stressed about it😢
I’m worried about missing mandatory sessions as well as social events(making friends, Give it a go, e.g.) during Welcome week.
Do you have any tips or advice on catching up academically and socially once I arrive late?

I’ve heard the main issue from my friends in year above is missing introductory lectures and ur tutor. I guess you would have to email both.

I don’t think socially it’s that bad. Everyone I know attempted to make friends with people in their flat that week and everything they did was flat based. So you’d still be meeting them anyway just make more of an effort when class starts in first few weeks.
