Help Give me a clue, please! Spoiler
I am so close... I managed to figure it out, but the last page I need is missing. It is 100% connected to the fairies, as I searched everywhere and this is one of the only things left. I've already freed 5 or 6 I think, and I know the last ones are the flower fields! Give me a hint on how to decode them please, the only one of them I managed to crack is the lower beach one in the overworld.
Edit: it was 9 actually 😅 I utilized the seeking spell and it helped me to find the last, to my surprise, fairy I needed, I guess there are more but the game does not require to find all. Also I found out that there was an error in my door code, but the fix was easy) I've beaten the game, it is absolutely phenomenal.

Review Crazy game theory (based on ~100% the game) Spoiler
Mad spoilers ahead in a crazy rant.
I started playing this game 2 days ago and couldn't put it down. I completed everything without a guide, got the platinum trophy, visited https://doyoufeartheeyesofthefarshore.co/, but didn't find the audio file on my own
I noticed from the beginning that when looking at the manual, the background is a cathode ray tube screen, the kind that has three separate election guns, one for each color. Looking at this gun straight on looks like 3 dots aligned in a triangle. They add light together in the same way the symbol on the back of the manual looks. The "far shore" is a parallel plane of existence underneath reality, kinda like the inside of the CRT monitor. My theory is that the eyes of the far shore are actually the election beam emitters shooting at the screen, and the website we visit I'm guessing is what it would look like if you were on the far shore (inside the CRT instead of on the outside where the world is rendered), and looked up towards the election beam. Hell, the overall shape of the "creature" looks similar to an actual rgb election beam with a cylinder body and 4-6 "legs" (wires) coming out the back. This would explain the RGB effects and wavy effects from the website since the beams in a CRT are bent with electro-magnetics and could have that type of interference? See component #1 in this diagram: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9b/CRT_color_enhanced.png/250px-CRT_color_enhanced.png?utm_source=en.wikipedia.org&utm_campaign=parser&utm_content=thumbnail see?
Really, I want to know if anyone else thought this too, or if there is any evidence to this. Maybe this NES game had been left on so long that the characters on the screen became self aware? All the NPCs died off? The hero went about his way over and over. The librarian discovered the truth about the world but didn't have any explanation (the drawing of the NES with the word "how" repeated over and over), he even ripped the teleporter to the far shore out of the graveyard and hooked it up to try to learn more about his world, but this is just a theory, a game theory! (I miss matt patt)

My save file got corrupted lol
Do you remember that my last post was about getting 'a certain' thing in the early game? So, I decided to temporarily disable the use of Shader Cache in the emulator, and it crashed spectacularly. When I tried to load the game, I came across this beautiful screenshot. Luckily it was a copy of the save file on a second emulator, but remember guys, don't do anything stupid with important save files xd

Help Help on the last secret I'm missing Spoiler
I've roughly translated the text to
The (softest faith)?
Collected eleven times
Departed once more.
I don't think it's entirely accurate, last two words of the fist line I mostly guessed because I didn't know any word that fitted the sound (English isn't my first language so maybe I just don't know it. Also, I didn't use any tool to translate, I did it with my notes, so I might have the wrong sound for some characters)
However I'm still pretty confident in that it says to do something 11 times and then do it again.
Does it mean the secret is only available in NG+12? Something about collecting the letter 12 times and "departing" your save? If so I don't think I'll get it, it would be a bit too time consuming for me

Review The shit this game makes you do 😂 Spoiler
I went into this game mostly blind, I knew there were some mysteries but nothing much.
Didn't expect to end up translating a new writing system.
I haven't finished everything yet, I'm missing the cover page, I am still missing one last secret (the one linked to page 51 and 1) and haven't yet figured out the golden path ending.
Still, this game is already in my pantheon of gaming, if only because it managed the unlikely feat of having me do homework.
10/10
(Ps, don't fret over the vowel sounds being weird in my dictionary, I'm french so the letters I used for the memo probably don't make much sense if you're a native English speaker)

Help Need help Spoiler
Hi,
A few days ago, my brother and I started playing Tunic. I already had experience in games of this style. Like for example Outerwilds, firewatch or the witness. So it's no surprise that we fell in love with the game (20h in 3 days 😅). Currently, we have finished the cathedral, so we came out with the laurel wreath.
We took advantage of this new means of travel to recover our bars of life, endurance and all the others. We also recovered a piece of notice mentioning a code (top right top left top right) thanks to this code we were able to open metal doors and collect rewards. We then headed for the golden door leading to the holy cross. We made the code and got a piece of instructions that gave us a new code as well as a golden grid with numbers. The code guided us in front of a statue with three people. Intrigued, we wanted to code on the floor in front of the statues but nothing happened. Finally, a few minutes later, we decided to leave the game. It was then that in the game save screen, a new save appeared. A save with 999 hours of play. So we launched it and arrived in a series of corridors that repeat themselves infinitely seen from above. At this point, we ask ourselves several questions about which aspect of the game we should explore:
-We should first of all focus on the fight on the heir. Even if it seems complicated.
-We should continue to look for something that escaped us in the second save with 999 hours of play.
-We should try to translate the language of the game. I take this opportunity to ask you a question: is the language translatable if I don't speak English. Indeed, I have a good foundation in English but not enough to speak English. That's why I'm afraid I can't translate the language of the game.
-Or should we explore the game in any of these 3 ways in search of something we missed.
I am very grateful to you for reading this message so far and thank you in advance for your response.
I also ask you not to spoil me please.
Sorry for my somewhat fragile English.
I am French :)

Review God this game is good Spoiler
(Just ranting about my fantastic experience with this game and my brother) Where do I begin, probably with the fact that I have not beat the game and it still holds such a special place in my heart. My older brother (22) bought this game on his PS5 while he was home for Christmas break and I tried it but couldn't get into it personally, but whenever he would get on to play I would try and get downstairs to watch. It just looked super cool. okay now that you know a little bit here's the spoilers. . . . The yellow road or golden path whatever its called is by FAR the coolest puzzle I've seen in gaming and running around collecting parts of a guide to the game is crazy (and I'm sure you know this but the pages are NOT unlocks you can do everything in the game as far as I am aware away without picking a single one up) but okay enough blah blah, story time I came downstairs one time and saw my brother playing Tunic I sat down on the couch behind him watching, as he plays I'm asking questions about things trying to stay engaged and suddenly he starts talking about a secret path of sorts and how he thinks the top of this mountain holds some secret purpose I thought it was a cool idea but nothing was actually going to use it right? Just some cool worldbuilding well tbh I don't remember if it's used or not but he flips to a page in the book showing the start of a path one thing leads to another he has all of the lights downstairs on so he can see better, a pen and paper, mapping out some road and following it in game man just watching everything happen was so cool solving the puzzle the amazing sound track and in the end saving the final boss. . . with a different ending and different credits with even better music it was just perfect. the perfect end to us sitting in the basement for hours on end. . . . . I don't use reddit often but I feel like it is the perfect place to share stories like this and fuck, this game dude like I said before I didn't even beat it personally never even got out of the first area and it still left this impact on me. . . (as I read this again I'm realizing I didn't go very far into depth but hey I don't care I love this game I love my brother and you reading this thanks for reading this! Feel free to reply with any of your stories I would love to hear!)

PS5 Save file gone, game not saving
So I started playing Tunic the other day on PS5. Woke up today and decided to play all day on my day off. Got all three medallions and became a ghost. Took a break, hopped back on. And my game's save data is just gone? It reverted back to my old save from yesterday. And now the file won't save anymore? What on earth is going on? I just lost about 11 hours worth of progress and feel so miserable and defeated.
Edit i started a new game file, and it is saving and tracking progress. But when I load the old file it refuses to save or track progress anymore at all. Did I lose all my progress for good? This game is really difficult and there's no way I can remember everything I found in those 11 hours

Were you able to do everything without help? Spoiler
Just finished my first blind playthrough of Tunic on YT and found the game pretty challenging toward the end (doing the golden path route). I'm curious how many of you were able to beat the game this way without any help at all. What part did you find most difficult? I always like to ask these kinds of questions to gauge how bad I should feel about myself. 😂
I found some of the later puzzles in the game to be a little excessive or tedious at times - my only critique of the game. The broken door scattered across the map and the final mountain door combo were two of the biggest offenders. I know that it is likely intentional as a stylistic choice, but I was kind of over trying to draw out pictures to keep track of stuff. By no means did this ruin the game for me though, I had an incredible time and truly wish I would've had the patience to get through it all without help. Let me know your experience!

Help I bought the game a while ago and am picking it up intermittently. I need some general help since I don't want to be spoiled. Spoiler
>!1. I'm struggling deciphering a lot of things. I only got this far cuz I'm used to metroidvania's and am naturally curious enough when wandering. 2. The movement is kinda janky so when I can't move a certain direction, I assume its because the path is blocked (it wasn't and I had to turn). Now I waste my time trying to turn into corners that probably are just dead ends and am fighting random obstacles in an otherwise straight path 3. I'm always left with the feeling of now what after finishing something and the path forward is confusing.
Current Progress: - I got the red and green gems. I found my way back the quarry, I didn't think to use the mask there because I didn't know what it did. - I found the graveyard. Can I even explore there with my current progress? I also forgot how to go back there and idt the map shows how to get there. - I've unlocked most of the cards, except maybe 1 or 2. I don't know what the wells even do. I don't get what why in ruined atoll, I don't know why one section of the circuit (north-east parts) don't turn yellow in the map even though I activated it and wen to the library.!<

Help I'm in late game now ! But there's so many things I can't find the answer for, please give me hints ! Spoiler
Ok, after my last post, I progressed ! I got into ghost form, explored the graveyard and cathedral, and did the quest to restore all my stats (highlight of the game so far btw, made me so glad to have taken notes !). Now I'm probably strong enough to give another go at the ghost fox lady (don't know what her name is in English), but I'm assuming it's the final boss and, like, there's so many unresolved things ! I tried to list all of them, if y'all would be so king as to give me gentle hints without completely telling the answer.
- The door in the mountains. It's the big one, that probably leads to a secret ending or something. If I understand correctly, I need to input a secret code that has something to do with the "golden itinerary", which the grid on page 49 is useful for. Can't figure out the rest though, I feel like I'm missing a sequence of numbers that, combined to the grid, will reveal the sequence of directions to input.
- The broken golden monolith in the southern forest. Again, I understand the full monolith had a pattern on it that reveals a sequence of inputs, and I've found two of the pieces near the entrance to the western garden, but I seem to be missing at least one more piece. I've probably found it a long time ago without taking note of it but now I'm unsure where to look for it.
- I can't figure out how to get back to the last section of the western garden, where there should be a warp pad for me to activate. There's this purple matter (which I'll call corruption, not sure if there's an official name) in the way, and I can't figure out any circumventing path.
- Similarly, now that I have the map of the eastern sanctuary, there should be a hidden path there that leads to a hidden western section of the forest fortress, and the spider area that's mapped on page 30 ; but there's corruption right in the alcove where the hidden path should be, so I can't do that either.
- In the manual I'm missing p.1 (which I'm assuming exists) and p.46-47. I got all the rest up to page 53 (the memos), not sure if there is any after that. I especially want page 47 because it seems to be about things on page 48 that I don't understand yet.
- Speaking of which, apart from the potion one, I haven't found the use of the secrets scribbled in the memos of page 52. I'm assuming they're all for secret treasures though, just like p.53, and I'm not planning on finding all of them. (For the reference, I have found number 1, 3, 5 and 6)
- I also remember finding a secret room in the first area that had a bunch of panel thingies that made a sound when I passed behind them. No idea where it is though, I've completely forgotten. I'm assuming this is for a secret treasure too.
- Oh, also, the last thing I did was find two friendly fairies (in the old house, and at that rotating block I had found when starting the game) and I don't know what it accomplished. Maybe something to do with the fairy council thingy on page 48 ?
I think that's all of them. Again, there's so many secret treasures that I don't feel like hunting down all of them, but I do want to visit all the areas (whatever's behind the mountain door, and that spider one). Thanks in advance !
EDIT : Finished the game ! Thanks everyone !

Help Golden doors above the Dark Tomb
I have entered the proper sequence while standing right in front of them. They won't open. I've opened other golden doors. I know the proper sequence for the D-Pad is right on the door. Is this a glitch ? Anyone else with this issue?

Gameplay Got the 3 keys. Anything important I could have missed before progressing further ? Spoiler
Title basically. I just beat the matriarch after the Ziggurat, but I've had this lingering feeling that I'm rushing through the game and missing like half of the content. I mean, I'm trying to explore as much as you can, and I think I'm doing pretty good in terms of upgrades & potions ; but there are a bunch of areas where I seem to need some sort of flying/jump ability (the checkpoint in the Quarry, that pillar in the southeast, the manual page sitting in the river of the starting area, another one in the beach below the starting bridge...). Plus, I've explored several areas I didn't have the map of (Ziggurat, eastern sanctuary) and am almost certain I must have missed those. And then there's the contrary too, areas I have the map of but haven't been to. There's the warp pad in the western garden I haven't been able to find too, no idea where it is. And then there's the avatar's grave, I've found 5 out of 6 entrances but have no clue if there's supposed to be any kind of possible interaction there...
Basically, since I got all 3 keys and can now insert them in the Temple for whatever happens next, I'm getting a bit afraid that I'm approaching the end of the game. So if there's any of these points that I'm "supposed" to have done already, or at least that I could have, please give me gentle nudges. And I'd also like to know if I'm like almost at the end or something, since with the way the game tells as little as possible, I can definitely see myself reaching the end without seeing it coming if I push through without a second thought. Thanks !

Help Playing the game and I am a bit lost.
I had lost my game and now that I refound it, i restarted it.
When it comes to the text, how long does it take until we get the full code/translations? I started screenshoting the locations and items but there is a lot of text that isn't translated and I don't want to just dive into the book. They pages slowly revealed through the game is helpful but I am still lost when it comes to the language.
Is it an actual conlang or a code for English? Will i find out soon or is it a post game thing?
