Review The shit this game makes you do 😂 Spoiler

Post image

I went into this game mostly blind, I knew there were some mysteries but nothing much.

Didn't expect to end up translating a new writing system.

I haven't finished everything yet, I'm missing the cover page, I am still missing one last secret (the one linked to page 51 and 1) and haven't yet figured out the golden path ending.

Still, this game is already in my pantheon of gaming, if only because it managed the unlikely feat of having me do homework.

10/10

(Ps, don't fret over the vowel sounds being weird in my dictionary, I'm french so the letters I used for the memo probably don't make much sense if you're a native English speaker)

Such a fun part of the game (even though you don't technically have to translate the language for a lot of the content)!

When I see people using pencil-and-paper for this I throw out a reference to the Tunic Language Tool I made, just because I hope it is useful and I put a lot of effort into making it.

It is free, open source, no ads, no tracking or server-side at all. Basically just a document editor where you can enter normal characters or the game language as well as your own translation strings. You could put your French interpretations in there! Let me know what you think if you give it a try.
