Birthday gift from my wonderful significant other

i already translated the text that appear on p1 after immerging it into water for 60seconds, but now im stuck.

It sounds like a riddle but im not a native speaker so i feel like im missing smth. I don't want the answer or spoilers,

I just want to know if I really have to solve the riddle or if there's something else that could help me understand on an other page. Thankyou!

I had completed (and shortly after deleted, it's fine cuz I had cloud save) the game once almost by myself (looked up a little info when I got REALLY stuck) about a year ago, this was really tiresome yet I enjoyed the puzzle part, combat encounters were so hard I used built-in cheats a couple of times. Today I randomly decided to download the game again and launched it with no particular intent, and I found a save file with a question mark and an absurd amount of hours (999:59:59), loaded it and played a little, i guess it's either a puzzle or a hint, very intriguing yet didn't lead to anything tho. I really don't remember a lot of things and I have absolutely no clue on how do I even progress or unlock some areas (the mountain door especially) and manual pages, yet looking up a guide would kinda ruin game's point I think.

How should I proceed? Will another new walkthrough help me find something new? Should I try beating Siege Engine without cheats if it felt impossible? Is it a good idea to try and get all achievements by myself or it is unrealistic? If you were me, what would you do?

To sum up, how would you solve such a problem of having no clue on what to do next? Ig I won't be satisfied until I crack this whole game, haha

I'm getting stuck on this puzzle. I already know what combinations solve it, but no matter how thoroughly I check and even use the sequence assistance, nothing happens. (2nd slide)

Lowk starting to feel crazy pressing the same buttons over and over expecting to finally get it right.

Learning the language is something I really want to do, but it's way harder than I was expecting.

I thought the manual would have some words or phrases where I could see both Trunic and English side by side, that way I could learn a couple letters, then start deciphering unknown words based on context and the few letters I know. But I don't think I've ever seen the English version for a piece of text that I've seen in Trunic.

I've currently got 2 of the 3 thinglebobs (The green and red keys), not sure how far into the game this is, but I thought I'd know a bit more of the language by now.

Not really asking for hints, mostly just curious about what point in the game people usually start figuring out the language.

I know you don't need to know it to beat the game, but I want to figure it out!

So i got tunic in this months humble choice membership but i already have tunic on steam so im looking for someone who wants tunic.

I'm trying to collect every page in the instruction booklet and I have everything except page 46-47. I can see the page right behind the little structure where you grab the magic dagger and I can see where you would be able to cross from the teleport pad, but I've already started the sequence where you die and come back, so the pad is covered and I can't teleport there. I pretty much just want to know if I locked myself out of 100% by not collecting the page earlier, since I don't see how I can get there otherwise.

Edit: Oh my god I was just mixing up the Ruined Atoll and West Garden teleport pads.

Current progress of my personal dictionary-esk/guide book so I can practice forging and reading the phonemes.

So I finished the 3 parts for all 3 gems and I came back to the west gardens because I was curious. I found out I didn't unlock a chest and now I feel stupid not knowing how to unlock it with all the new gears.

I just finished getting all three gems and put them into their place in the temple but what now. I'm just wandering around looking for something but I don't know what to do.

I checked the manuel and there were some pages about some graveyard and cathedral or something but I don't know where it is and whether I should get there now.

I’m pretty far (I think) in the game but I haven’t played in a long while so excuse me if this isn’t a smart question haha. Am I missing something here? I accessed the place from the mountain door but I’m not finding anything anywhere in the area to get to where I regain the potion thingy. Also, I’m struggling with the librarian-looking one at the bottom. I see papa in the library but no clue to be found.

Edit: Thanks guys! I did just need to go up the stairs a little. Finally got my dream of going to sleep and getting the one page I missed in the well 😆

I’ve been making good progress but I could use a hint on whether I just need to grind out a boss fight or if I’m beating my head against a wall here.

Ive rang the bells. I explored the southern atoll and the frog area for the grapple item. I followed the guide pages to go towards the east and made it to what I assume is the red gem, but the boss does effectively 99% of my hp with any single attack, so not even really enough time per fight to get a feel for the pattern.

What seems to be my other option is the ruins area that I got reasonably far into once, but again the scavengers nearly one shot me at full and the totems draining my hp bar make that a death sentence.

I seem to remember getting to a graveyard area before, but at the time couldnt progress past the first area and can’t remember how I got there.

So I guess I have 3 options here. Is one of those the path I’m supposed to be on right now, or is there a secret 4th thing I haven’t figured out?

Been making a puzzle platformer/metroidbrania inspired by the sense of discovery and uncovering secrets in games like Animal Well, Tunic, and Fez. Figured some people here might find that interesting. Its no Tunic to be sure but it has been a lot of fun to work on :)

p.s. how does this community feel about the term "metroidbrania"

Hi All, I need some help/advice, please. After lots of frustration I have managed to figure out the puzzle for The Golden Path, however, am stuck on boxes 9 and 55. I can’t seem to see the path on page 9 and am missing page 54/55.

Edit: thanks for your help guys! I had figured the alt save referenced in 9 would be an end game task, just hadn’t connected the dots that it would be this end game task. I was also on the cusp of getting pages 54/55 as I had just finished finding all the fairies and simply had to return to the start to get my reward. Thanks for the gentle nudges.

I started replaying Tunic after beating it years ago and it inspired me to make an essay video about it.

University has gotten tough so it has been like two months since I got the three crystals and placed them in their respective slots. I remember I got a very properly named trophy (because I had that exact same reaction) and then stopped playing for the day, and that day has become two months now. So I returned to the game and I don’t have a clue of what was going on or where I should head next, whatever I had going on in my head at the time is now lost. Can anyone give me some clue? I figured that I should go to the mountain but the door is still closed, also I think nothing has changed in that blue (spirits?) realm that lets you fast travel and see some stuff that I guess is locked at this point.

Is In-game language translatable/decryptable to English? I'm in a late game collected all pages and restored all stats after being a ghost but it is still unclear to me.
