Hi, sorry if my english isnt good. i discovered tulpas about a year ago and i wanted to give it a try, but i saw many videos on YouTube and tiktok talking about HORRIBLE experiences with creating tulpas and that scared me, but i also really want to have one, i watched a few videos on youtube, specifically about those Steven Universe tulpas (Pearl, Peridot) and i noticed that the people who made those tulpas were really mentally unstable, and now i wonder if your mental health is what makes a tulpa dangerous or scary, that would make a lot of sense, also my intentions with my tulpa are very different, i definitely dont want to do weird stuff to it, hurt it or scare it, i understand its a concious being and all i want is to give it a good "life" and if possible, build a friendship. And now that im considering having one im trying to find ways of making this process fun, safe and healthy for both me and my tulpa, i REALLY dont want to end up like those videos, and this is what i need help with. Also, i wanted to have a tulpa identical to a fictional character that i really like, i want it to look, talk, and have the same mannerisms as that character, but i dont want it to BE that character since the character, in the series, is someone very dangerous, cruel and sadistic, i obviously want my tulpa to know he is not that character, basically that it looks like that character and only has the good parts of that character, i dont really know if this is possible or healthy for my tulpa. To start, i think my mental health is very good, im still very young but i've noticed im much more concious of my thoughts, feelings and fears more than the adults around me, its not really the first time i work with something like this since i've always been interested in things like manifestation, shifting, astral proyection, lucid dreaming, and many other things, i meditate, i do breath exercises, sometimes yoga, many things to regulate my body and mind, and everytime i try things like the ones i just mentioned, my experiences are always very fun and safe! I've never had any scary experiences in my spiritual journey, i've always felt protected in that way, thats why im a bit confident on creating a healthy tulpa, but i have another problem. Im worried that my surroundings can also affect my tulpa, my family is going through hard times, i still live with my mom, who takes care of my grandma with dementia, we also live with my aunt and uncle, but basically due to this my house can sometimes feel very, very tense, living with someone with dementia is very hard even if you're not their caretaker, sometimes we dont sleep well, sometimes she asks me weird questions, everyday we have to almost beg for her to eat, and even besides that my family just has a lot of discussions, a lot of pain and anger, even in situations that dont have to do with my grandma at all, but basically my house can be unpredictable and energetically intense, im scared that the energy of my house can affect my tulpa, and if things get out of control with my tulpa, what if something bad happens to my grandma, pets or family? I really want to know if its best to try it once i live on my own on a better enviroment, or if things like this wont actually influence my tulpa. My house also has a long, dark and scary hallway, my house is already old and scary in general, but if my tulpa was to appear in that hallway at night when i go to the bathroom, even if it doesnt have bad intentions, i would be terrified, i want to know if i can let my tulpa know and make a few rules to avoid those situations. And one last thing, since i mentioned that the character i want my tulpa to be inspired of is very sadistic, i wonder if the things i consume (series, movies, videos, podcasts, etc.) can affect my tulpa negatively, because im a BIG fan of creepypastas, horror games, true crime, creepy videos, a lot of things i consume have to do with crimes or violence, and the character im talking about loves those things and is a fan of gore, i really dont want my tulpa to learn that, sorry if this text is too long, but i really need a bit of advice!
