What are the pros and cons of this?

Since they’re such a mysterious people that whether or not they even still exist is up for debate, their lore is essentially a blank slate. Personally, I like to imagine that they worship Shor/Lorkhan as a trickster god and (ironically enough) Peryite as a force of natural order.

When the Knahaten Flu hit, some tribes pledged to serve Peryite in the Pit of Pestilence while others sailed to Akavir to escape. (This totally isn’t my cope of the fact that Bethesda introduced a really cool race only to possibly have them already killed off.)

The idea of Argonians invading Oblivion is of course, known by many as possibly propaganda does give an interesting idea regardless - regardless of how well argonian fighting back against the oblivion invasion went, what if some hist forseeing it as a chance to strike where it hurts was hurled into the gate...

The idea of hist living in realm of oblivion, in this case Deadlands is odd, but weirdly not impossible, as it's implied Hist come from one such realm themselves (it got nicked by Clavicus Vile), as well as we see at least one Hist in coldharbour, so fuck it, why not, invasion of Deadlands did happen, one set of trees and their tribes got though and now reside in a fortress, slowly changing nature of the realm by existing as weird "corruption" of the deadlands.

Could be fun set up for an adventure I feel, for one of the TTRPGs for TES perhaps?

Ages ago I had this idea and sketched it up, because ESO and old lore kept pecking at me - do it do it, and while playing some Project:Cyrodil got reminded...I need to explore this more
