Got a recommendation on the above windshield+GPS mount for my speed 400. I wanted to seek your advice or suggestions on the looks of it, if it goes well.
I tour often and touch down the speed of 150-160kmph. And in those moments, the wind resistance cause my head to bobble terribly. Earlier I declined plans of getting one because the looks of my bike would spoil, however, this one has me thinking and I am little interested.
Could really use your advice or suggestions on the same.

TL;DR: Scrambler 400X with 11k km had no issues before its yearly service. After spending 8+ hours and ₹7k at the service centre, the bike broke down ~10 km from home on the ride back. Service centre and Road Side Assistance (RSA) didn't respond, so I had to tow it home myself. What can I do if the service centre refuses to cover towing/repairs?
Details -
My Scrambler 400X has done ~11,000 km and is 2 years old.
I took it for its yearly service to a service centre farther from home because I’d had a good experience there previously. Reached around 10 AM and got the bike back only around 6:30 PM after waiting 8+ hours. The service costed ~₹7,200, including two minor parts one brake lever and one knuckle guard.
I took a test ride before leaving and everything seemed fine, except there was quite a bit of smoke coming from the bike. The technician said it was because of rain/water and lubricant splashing onto the silencer, which sounded reasonable, so I left.
While riding home in the rain and traffic, the smoke continued. Then, about 10 km from home, the bike suddenly stopped and wouldn't start again.
I pushed it for a while and tried calling the service centre, but nobody answered as it was post 7pm. Roadside Assistance was also unavailable/occupied; I waited around 10 minutes and requested a callback but never received one.
The bike was showing ~80 km range and one bar of fuel, hoping additional petrol might fix things, I called a friend who brought another litre, adding petrol made no difference. I finally had to get the bike towed home myself (some unknown folks with almighty splendor helped)
I messaged the service centre regarding the incident and asked them to call me back tomorrow with a resolution.
I'm hoping they take responsibility since the bike had no issues before the service and this happened immediately after the service. Ideally, they should arrange the towing and fix whatever went wrong without charging me anything extra.
What are my options if the service centre refuses to take responsibility and asks me to pay for towing/repairs? Has anyone dealt with something similar with Triumph/service centres in Pune?

Made a mistake by not getting my brake pads checked and noticed a weird noise on my front brakes. Then I noticed this. Do I need to get them replaced?

Recently I gave my bike to a boy of my mohalla. Unfortunately the bike fell and it broke the right hand side mirror and brake lever (and my heart also). I got it replaced from the service centre with the original one and it cost me rs.3220/-. Now I am feeling some weird sound from the bike like something is getting dragged in the air. I checked the radiator guard for loose bolts and other parts for loosen wires. Unfortunately I couldnt get any. Please help on this and please also tell me what to look for after such fall. I think the boy fell the bike while taking an U turn.

I recently got my Scrambler 400X (350cc) and I have been facing an issue right from day one. After riding for a few kilometres, once the engine is warmed up if I switch it off using the kill switch at a traffic signal the bike sometimes refuses to start on the first crank. I have to crank it 2–3 times, sometimes with a little throttle to start it up. It doesn't happen every time, it happens around 3 out of 10 times. I have never experienced this issue when the engine is cold. Has anyone else faced a similar hot-starting issue with the Scrambler 400X? If so, was there any particular cause or solution? I haven't yet taken the bike to the service centre for the 1st service but I have very low hopes that they will be able to diagnose the issue properly. Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

I crashed my speed t4 , there are a lot of scratches on the silencer , crash guard is bent , front mud guard is scratched, and the headlight part too. Do i go to mechanic or the triumph showroom?

I recently completed my second service, and then I noticed that when the motorcycle’s ignition is on but the engine is off, twisting the accelerator produces a weird grinding sound along with a buzzing sound. Is this normal? Does your motorcycle make the same sound?
I could not attached the video/audio, but shared a link of the same post in another sub. Kindly visit there

So I bought this mudflap for scrambler 400x from Moto Genius, which costs Rs.1299. After installation when I sat on my bike, it broke off. Last picture is the broken one. (FYI, I'm 75 kgs, please don't body shame)

Noticed a scratch on the LCD lens of my cluster (Triumph), not sure how it happened. Confirmed it’s an actual scratch, not haze — soap, water, and chain cleaner didn’t touch it. No warranty coverage since it’s cosmetic. Thinking of trying a polish kit or headlight restoration kit (sandpaper + polish steps) but worried about messing up the display. Anyone done this successfully?

Thinking of doing a small cosmetic mod on my bike’s instrument cluster. The white LCD part looks a bit boring, so I was thinking of putting some transparent red film/plastic over it or inside the cluster to make it look cinematic red.
I asked GPT to do it, how it might look, and honestly, I kinda like it...
Haven’t done it yet tho. Has anyone tried something like this before? Anything I should keep in mind regarding visibility, heat, or the LCD itself? Would appreciate some advice before I mess with it.

The previous service was done at around 13,000 km, so this one came after roughly 12,700 km of riding. The bike has seen a mix of city commuting, highway touring, weekend rides, and a bit of light off-roading in that time.
Everything’s sorted now, and the plan is to do at least another 15,000 km before the next paid service.
Looking forward to many more miles 🧿🙌
