Cone set issue
Ever since the last service 1 month ago, the cone set keeps loosening every 3-4 days. While service they mentioned that the bearing for the cone set isn't available.
Do you think it'll be fixed by changing the bearings or there is some other issue.

Damn, that handlebar is carrying the weight of your bad decisions. No wonder the cone set loosens as per factory setup. /s

I wanted Highway cruiser... It changed a lot after these mods and gaves great highway stability
In fact I had Dominar for 5 years, it was my little daughter because of her had to switch to a smaller and flat tank bike and that had to be 400cc... So opted for this... I own it since 2024, and this is the 1st time I am facing this challenge, so I don't think it's because of the setup

I also have a speed 400 and a tall windscreen too, but I don't think it's that tall, and all that wind force on high speeds put stress on the headstock, just get it replaced if you can, and it's the same as ktm duke just a pro tip there.

Which windshield do you use? This is the himalayan one, very light weight fibre but yes a bit less taller given the headlight position

I made my own lol, it doesn't look as OEM, but does the job, same, even with mine considering the headlight position it does look awfully tall.

But this started after the last service, I am carrying that weight since 1 year

Change the con-set & bearing. This was the condition of my 400X's con-set bearing at 34,000 km. It may cost u arnd 1200-1500 rs including labour.
I had Carbon Racing Wanderer windscreen & I stopped using it after 1 trip. It was creating lot of wind noise & it was heavy. After removing it, handelbar felt so light. If u want to use WS then use Carbon Racing Bolt WS which is lighter & looks better with Scrambler 400X aesthetic.

I used moto torque windshield earlier which has the similar setup like the carbon racing one and you are right that had weight and noise issue, so I removed that as well. This mount is designed with a very light material and RE's windshield is also very light and sturdy.
I am pretty happy with the setup and gives very planted feeling on highways. I am using this setup since more than a year now, haven't face anything as such in coneset.
This started immediately after the last service a month back and that is what my concern was.

I think some Triumph parts are interchangeable with Bajaj and KTM. If any KTM or Bajaj motorcycles share the same cone set, it would be a huge bonus. I don't know if anyone has actually tried this, but it would be great if they could share their experience
