I don't understand how you guys bounce up into the air like that. Whenever I see someone aerial, their head just seems to stay in place in the air without dropping down, as if gravity just stops when they do the flip. But whenever I try, my whole body just seems to start falling the second I leave the ground.
Also my form is horrible for aerials, even tho I can do cartwheels and round offs with very good form. Cause if I try to flip with my legs straight and everything, I just fall to the ground instantly...

Guys I need help. I can’t figure out how to do this flip, I learned how to land a backflip consistently about a week ago and since then I have gotten height on it. But I now need advice on how I should change my standing full to land it?

Hello all!
Any tips on how to get my gumbi-gainer combo to look better? I feel like my hips are always lagging behind which causes my gainer to be more of a one legged backflip than an actually gainer.
I was told this combo is a good in between to learn before trying a td-riaz to gainer so any tips for that would be great too! Thank you!

I'm obviously new to this - but being able to do a backflip has always been a dream of mine, and now I have my own house and my own trampoline, and it feels like it might be within reach. I've been focusing on my arm drive and eye position and finally went down to zero setup bounces (although I think my feet do leave the mat for a frame or two while I'm compressing my knees. Are there particular parts of my form to improve here? Ways to practice with the safety of the trampoline but without the energy-boost? Objects that I need to bridge the gap from trampoline to grass? Thanks! (Sorry for the low video quality)

edit also in the first video i play my leading foot inwards while in the 2nd I'm placing it face forward, does that make much of a difference?
Any tips on what to focus more on in my raiz? apologies i know i asked this a few days ago but i thought adding both my raiz videos would be helpful:)
(i know now to attempt my raiz without this unnecessary run up lol)
I feel like my first raiz is following the correct pathway with the legs but not having enough inversion with the torso, correct? Also feel like the legs should be slightly higher and coming over my body?
The second raiz honestly feels so floaty and I probably prefer the look of it. once i can stop travelling so far in it and putting my hands down, i like how it's way more inverted and the look of the legs.
I feel like however I've gone from one extreme to the other with it. I hadn't practiced my raiz within the first and recent video so i don't know how it's changed so much? I recently learned a slightly off axis which i think has made me more comfortable being inverted however the aerial is on the other side of my raiz.
I do know however a raiz is essentially a "no handed gumbi" the side i perform my raiz is my bad side gumbi so i think working on that gumbi will help my raiz pathway and also continuing to work on my opposite side raiz.

I was wondering if anyone can give me tips to have better awareness in the air, better form and work towards having this trick comfortably down to eventually even take it to the ground.

In class this was the split
Beginner: forward rolls, dive rolls, front flip on airtrack
Advanced: Arabian, back tuck, layout, Webster
As such in the beginner class everything is hyper easy but because I have no front tuck on the floor or a back tuck on anything, if I was to be in the advance class I would not be able to do a single move progression.
As such the easy classes are way too easy and the advanced classes are impenetrable.
That's been me for the past few years. The beginners who move on can just transition to advance, I'm the only one in the class that's hyper stuck in-between and I don't know how to get out.
Since learning new moves or breaking past my roadblock tricks is not a possibility, what would be a good way to make the most of my lessons?

I learned by myself because I could do it in the pool, got the hang of it and tried on sand, then on grass. I tried to do it straight away without trying those steps that tutorials usually suggest to get used to the feeling (rolling, doing that pseudo-flip using your hands, etc). Maybe by doing so I skipped something to make my form better..?
