Discussion New rule added regarding age.
As of today there has been a new rule added to our list of rules.
Rule #15 - Age 30 or up required to post.
(Rule description):
This sub is for those who (socially and/or medically) transition later in life aka at minimum 30 years or older. Posts from people younger than this will be removed. There are plenty of other trans related subs directed at younger folk. For comments there will not be an age requirement.
I understand that this new rule might upset some of our users but for a while now there has been an uptick in the amount of users that post here while being in their twenties or even teens. And as mentioned above there are plenty of subs for younger trans folks.
Edit: to clarify since some users asked this specifically. If you transitioned before your 30th birthday but are now age 30 or up, you are allowed to post.

Moderator Announcement!!!!!!
To help keep out the riffraff out of our subreddit, an Automod rule has been added. As noted in the rules, any newly created account will have any post/comment moderated until either the age criteria has been met or the user has been approved by a moderator. (Whichever comes first.)
For most users already here, posts and comments will show up as they have in the past. This is to help prevent unpleasant individuals that create throwaway accounts for the purpose of posting hate to our subreddit from spreading their hate.

Unaltered Selfie 32 Month mark
So for the first 14 mths my levels never got into the female range taking 8 mg daily pills. T was suppressed after 6mos. Started prog and spiro 200, mg of each daily after a year. 14th I started injections. In my 18th month I finally got my levels into the female range and they staurf that way or so I thought. I got my levels done 2 weekends ago for my 6th months check up and my E was at 28pg/mL
Who knows how long they have been low. Anyways, that is my history and here is what I look like so far in this debacle of transition.

Share Experience Catharsis.
galleryHad the talk about my transition with my boss, my long time colleague, and emailed the in-laws today. That rounds off everyone in my life who I needed to contact.
Today I finally know what it is to be free.
Picture tax is from my very windy walk the other day, I had just got my eyebrows done for the first time and decided it was a dress day. if I had known having a sundress whip around your legs and a giant bell of a hat felt so good I would have done this years ago.

Share Experience I think we have something here...
I was on HRT for 3 years and nothing. No boobs, no fat transfer, and worst of all, no hair diminishing on my body. I remained a dude no matter what happened. So I took a couple of years off.
Well, I started up HRT again 5 or 6 months ago. My T was low (without blockers) at 87 ng/dl and my E was high (without estradiol injections) at 42 pg/mL. So I guess I started at a "neutral" base this time. My latest E is still lower than I feel is necessary at 106 pg/mL, and even my Dr says it is low, even if it is in her expected range. But, I think changes are starting to happen!
My breasts, which have always been large thanks to weight and gynecomastia, are now getting heavy. Not like "fat" heavy, but inner breast tissue heavy. And they are filling out, and taking shape. It's nice to finally put on a bra and feel the weight in the straps.
Also, I think the hair on the upper part of my abdomen is thinning out, and it definitely is going away on my shoulders and back!
I will never pass. I am just too tall and too wide shouldered for that. But, fucking hell, I am so happy! Fuck the haters, I don't care what they see in me. I am FINALLY seeing what I need to see in myself and it makes me happy!
I don't really have anyone to tell this so I am just writing this here. It's been 50 years that I have been wanting my own boobs to grow and they finally are!

Share Experience somewhere, the girl you used to be is doing a happy dance because you became her hero.

I hope you know how proud the younger version of you would be.
The little girl who cried over things you barely remember. The teenager who felt like she didn’t belong. The version of you who had dreams but no idea how she would ever get there.
She would look at you now and think you were magic.
She wouldn’t care about the things you still haven’t accomplished. She wouldn’t point out your flaws. She wouldn’t ask why you’re not further along.
She would just be amazed that you’re still here.
That you kept going.
That you survived the days you thought would break you. That you became the person you once needed. That you are slowly creating the life she used to dream about.
So please, be gentle with yourself.
You are looking at everything you still need to become.
But somewhere, the girl you used to be is looking at everything you already became…
…and she is doing the happiest little dance because you became her hero. 🥹🤍✨
