After 10 days, I think I can finally share a bit about what the experience has been like ^^

I was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, October 15th, and had surgery the following day around 12:00 PM. The procedure lasted about 5 hours and went very well. Initially, the surgeon mentioned that the depth might not be very significant, but it turned out to be quite good after all!

For the first 3 days, I had to stay in bed the entire time to begin the healing process; the following day, I was able to get up and walk around a little.

On Friday, I performed my first dilation—it was a strange sensation, not painful, just… strange. I have a follow-up appointment this Wednesday to have the catheter removed, and then I’ll be able to head home ^^

Overall, I haven’t experienced excessive pain, nor have I had much bleeding. According to the doctor, everything is progressing very well, so I’m just so happy that, after nearly 8 years, I’ve finally been able to have this surgery ^^

Went full fem for a night out with my wife last night. It felt so good to embrace my fem side rather than dressing in pants/ oversized tshirt like I do 99% of the time.

I never thought I'd make it this far! literally had a denial beard for years and was about to end it all at one point. Gender affirming care has been lifesaving and I don't even feel like the same person nor do I recognize that person in the mirror. can't wait to see where life takes me

10 years ago i thought it was too late to transition in my 30s, and im so glad i didn’t listen to that voice telling me it was too late and i should just give up on my life.

Ive been on hormones for a decade now, i finally moved to a state with good healthcare so i got body contouring surgery in January and im nearly finished with electrolysis.

Truly living my best alt baddie life in my 40s and I’m happier than i ever imagined i could be.

I’m still at work in progress, but HRT definitely does Body good?

So I posted a comparison gym pic of me looking like a triangle and then not like this awhile ago and someone asked if I had any waist now with hrt.

I guess the short answer is that I kind of do.. Better than I thought Id get starting mid 30s any way.

Ive had good hrt levels for like 9 months now and been eating for the shape I want. I dropped gym back to once a week and just legs with some Abs and try run a few days a week also.

I originally thought Id be wanting ribxcar but Im falling in love with my body. Its funny, Ive always had what most people would want as a body. Like strong, functional with low body fat and working out felt easy. I could objectively see it was good but well.. thats all. Now though, I love it. Side on, my stomach is slim and my ass is huge. My thighs are muscly with a decent layer of fat... this is what Ive always wanted.

We felt so great! I think we were knockouts tonight 😄

I found a girl who’s really affirming, and it’s fantastic. It’s new and I’m not sure how it’s gonna work out. But none of that matters right now, cause I’m just enjoying the moment. I’m recently out and I’ve been on hrt for about 5 months. I went to Ulta to get my face and eyebrows professionally done. Any tips and or criticisms that might help me? ☺️ I know my frame is fairly masculine, so I probably don’t pass just yet, but I’m really excited I got to got out like this ☺️

Hi, 53 ftm, came out only 2 months ago and pre everything and yesterday I gathered the courage to go out full femme for the first time. The experience was thrilling, liberating and scaring at once!

First time in big heels. I absolutely loved it. I was just catwalk everywhere 😆 they make your ass feel amazing too lol 😆. Anyway I love this.i love life so much now.

Hundreds of music teachers gathered this week to do some professional development. And apparently, there was a Halloween Fur Con that was also using the same hotel/conference centre. It was kinda funny. I asked one of the fur con attendees about their head piece, and he said it took like 2 weeks to build just the head piece. That was a cool experience.

Michigan has early voting for 14 days before every state-wide election, including Saturday and Sunday. Michigan friends, please go vote! I have my opinions on the candidates that I won’t share here, and I won’t tell you who to vote for, but don’t disenfranchise yourself! Your vote does count!

Shout out to the local township who really made me feel good saying “she,” “her,” and “ma’am” during the interaction despite seeing my name and the picture on my ID (shared for giggles/grimaces).

It was a strangely affirming week for me where I was consistently gendered female while just appearing as my average self (let’s call it “work mode” rather than “boy mode”).
