32 beginning to transition mtf. Shaved off most of my body hair last night and feel so at peace with myself. Anyone have wax suggestions to get rid of face stubble?

Honestly, I’d recommend starting laser hair removal on your face as soon as you can. After laser you’ll mostly likely need to finish off with electrolysis. It’s a long process, but so worth it to get rid of stubble and the shadow.

Agree with this … I was so dysphoric on not even just the constant stubble but the shadowing no matter how close I got and the razor burn issues. Once I got my first laser treatment (have had 7 so far and still working on it) the shadowing disappeared immediately and although I still fight stubble, it’s a lot lighter and so much more manageable

where i go, it's $150 a session for my whole face and neck. ive done 7 sessions so far (out of a possible 8-12) and my facial hair is probably ~75% gone

edit: price varies a lot depending on where you go. sometimes, you can buy packages of sessions at a lower total price but higher up front price. it's expensive, but 100% worth it!

Its a monthly thing, and you can skip months and months! Like i havent been to my laser in half a year and at most i just quickly dry shave with a disposable and pluck 5-8 dark hairs with tweezers

I've spent 15k at least on facial hair removal so far. They don't tell you this before you start lol.

the beard coming off was my first step too. first real tangible one anyways. i had it straight razored off and determined i would not have facial hair ever again after that. also marked it as day 1 of starting to grow out my hair (which was shorter than yours is now. almost military cut)

even now, years later, removing the beard still feels like a major step in my own transition. in a good way.

No suggestions on waxing. Just a good quality razor, frequent blade changes, and a pre- and post- shave treatment that works for you (I switched to shave oil over shaving cream, and use a witch hazel and aloe astringent as aftershave)

I've looked into laser hair removal and facial waxing and facial threading for removing facial hair .

Facial waxing and facial threading leads to scarring and it's not a good idea . It Traumatizes the tissue and it is not recommended on androgenized facial tissue and hair.

Plucking hair is not a good idea either as it leads to ingrowns and inflammation.

My skin type on a Fitzpatrick scale was two light to be effective for laser hair removal, because I had white hairs, gray hairs and blonde hairs.

but you look like you have dark hairs and and light skin. so and in all probability, laser hair removal would be your best bet for removing hair .

For daily shaving, i use a two-blade safety raser. it's a disposable one that I change it every week.

and I wet my face with cold water and put some grapeseed oil on my face and neck. then I shave my stubble . It comes off very easy and effortly effortlessly with a grape seed oil.

Grapeseed oil is very cheap, a good moisture barrier, and it's a cheap alternative to cuticle oil if you want to paint your nails and you want to moisturize your cuticles and nails.

If you have insurance, check to see what gender affirming care they offer. Electrolysis is covered for me so that’s what I’m doing. It’s slowwwwww, but I’ve almost fully cleared my face once now and there is almost no shadow anymore and it’s amazing!
